Yeah, I don't know f***face...I've never dipped pretzels in it before so I was just asking...Yes... far more so. Changing drinks to come out the same hole causes lots of stuff to be open to bacteria that love sugar. If they can be avoided, avoid them.Moreso than a standard drink fountain? How?Those things are disgustingly unsanitary...
Yeah... what other option is there? Eating hummus by hand?Yes, very gross.
@c2i - are you dipping the pretzels in the hummus...?

I'm just imagining someone scooping handfuls of hummus into and around their mouth.

I like these for hummus dipping btw:
Also, Giant has a killer sriracha hummus. I get a container every other week or so.

have not tried those... I have tried the garlic parm and the everything bagel flavored ones. They're both great.

All seem terrible to dip in hummus though, hummus has such a subtle flavor, those pretzel crackers would wipe out the hummus.

I like vegetables (carrots, celery, cukes) or plain pita chips with hummus.

That's why I use the plain pretzel crackers with strongly flavored hummus... keep up.All seem terrible to dip in hummus though, hummus has such a subtle flavor, those pretzel crackers would wipe out the hummus.

That's another thing, "strongly flavored hummus", seems like an oxymoron to me. I think if you're doing more than lemon, garlic, and salt, we aren't dealing with hummus anymore.

I've made this a few times, relatively easy and awesome: https://mobile.nytimes.com/2014/02/26/d ... &referrer=fresh pita bread, which is basically impossible to get anywhere.
Nothing beats fresh pita bread.

There's a Mediterranean grocer in Pittsburgh that makes Pita bread that is distrbuted to other medi places across the city. You have to get it the day off though, or it's essentially worthless.

One of the things I like about hummus is the straightforward taste. You wouldn't make sriracha guac, would you? I absolutely would make sriracha guac. In fact one of my favorite dinners is grilled chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato toppped with guac and sriracha in a big tortilla.

Although... red+green=brown, so maybe a mix of the two won’t work visually.

I would eat an egg bagel sandwich with avocado slices and sriracha. But no, guac is lime, garlic, cilantro. One of the things I like about hummus is the straightforward taste. I think my angle here, is that I am incredibly biased against store bought hummus. I'll eat trader joes, but it's not good. The whole foods here sells Greek Gourmet hummus which is pretty good, but a little heavy on the tahini for me. but that hummus brand they always have at the giant eagle, that's ****.
