I'm jealous of everyone that said Pink Floyd. Even you, NAN.
Yeah, me to. I'd love to have gone to a Floyd show.

Ghost is awesome live. Metz was into them a long time, and I finally went to one of their shows with him a few years ago. Songs are so catchy. Stage presence is cool.

Kind of lost a little bit of luster since they "revealed " Papa and there has been some band turnover - but, still good.

I assume most of us went to the 1994 Division Bell and/or Delicate Sound of Thunder tour, but are there any from any concerts with Roger Waters?

Hope they come to the burgh soon. I'll definitely be there.

Huh, just looked up the turnover thing. I didn't realized all that had happened.

Source of the post Anyone ever do meet & greets? Met anyone good?
Eddie Money (got him to sign a couple of his vinyls and he signed them "to eddie snake, rock and roll, eddie money" and then kissed my wife). Uriah Heep too.

I forgot about when I saw Green Day at the IC Light Amphitheater (formerly in the space of the Riverhounds stadium). We were visiting on 4th of July weekend in 2001, and we went with my brother and newlywed wife. It was the first time I felt old at a show; me and my brother were asked several times to lift kids up and throw them on top of the people in front of us. The show was entertaining that way and they did the whole destroy the drum set, light it on fire routine at the end of the show while playing the national anthem. Two months later 9/11 happened and July 4th 2002 my brother had his first girl.

I wish. Saw them in Cleveland at the old Cleveland Stadium in Sept 1987 on the 2nd night of the A Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour, their first US dates since 1980. Saw them again in Pittsburgh May 1988 on the second US leg of the same tour. The Cleveland show was just incredible. There were 128,000+ in attendance, and we were on the floor about 40 rows back from the stage.

Yeah, the 1994 tour was incredible. Largest concert I've been to, afaik. The huge disco ball in the center of the stadium could be seen for miles, as it was reflecting off of Lake Hartwell. Great experience.

I think the more relevant topic is, "who haven't you seen, that you would like to".
Do you mean acts that you could theoretically go see today? Or a more a "turn back the hands of time" kind of thing?

I've been to a ton, but here are my favorites in no particular order:

Pearl Jam 20 - 2 day fest 2011 (tied with front row at Mellon Arena in 03)
Rilo Kiley - 2003
The Decemberists - 2005
St. Vincent - 2007
The Weakerthans - 2004
Liam Finn - PJ20 2011
Wilco - 2003
Jimmy Eat World with The Promise Ring - 2002

I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot but those are what come to mind immediately.

worst concerts I've seen.....
KROQ Weenie Roast 2000.... Everclear and The Offspring, I think maybe back-to-back. It was excruciating.

Saigon Kick played the same song twice.

The only acts that come to mind here are Fair Warning-era Van Halen, and early 80s Queen. I don't think live rock and roll gets better than that.
