I think we're in second row. Feel free to say hi, or just creep from afar. :)

Ghost tonight at the Benedum. Anyone going? Metz & I doing meet & greet....get to see the 3 Papas lying in cases plus meet Cardinal Copia.
RIP Papas!
I believe @Dickie Dunn will also be in attendance.
I am regretfully out of town and will not make it back in time. Really hoping they make it back to Pittsburgh later when they try to upgrade this tour. All yinz enjoy. Every video I've seen from this tour looks great. They've gone all in with upgrading the already impressive stage show. All the new songs sound great, especially the majestic 80s sound of Dance Macabre. Should be a great night.

Edit: Looks like Dance Macabre was released online last night.

I don't know how I feel about that song vis a vis Ghost. It's not very Ghost-y. "Rats" is growing on me though, so maybe this will too.

I like the live versions I've heard better than the album version. The album version sounds too polished and is pushing the rhythm guitars way to the back of the audio track. It seems to have a grittier feel when played live.

Show was freakin awesome. I got a ton of great pics. Cardinal was terrific. Also have a new appreciation for Dance Macabre now that I’ve heard it live. Really, really like Pro Memoriam...can’t wait til that comes out. Seeing Papas in the veneration thing was neat—they looked so real.

Currently in the car driving to NJ to see Misfits tonight.

Bottlerock is this weekend in Napa, and we're going up Thursday afternoon (hopefully ahead of the long weekend get out traffic) and going to the show on Friday. Muse, Chainsmokers, Incubus, Earth Wind & Fire, Trombone Shorty.... and starting things off at 2 pm, my beloved The Struts. Then a free day on Saturday in Sonoma. This does not suck.

I just bought two tickets for the Outlaw Music Festival at Saratoga Springs in September. Just about in the center, 20 rows from the stage. Willie, Neil Young, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Promise of the Real, etc. Can't wait...I'm really going to see Neil for the first time, but obviously I like the other acts as well.

I'm not into country, but the lineup for Pit is really good, but it's star lake so I have to pass

Willie Nelson and Family, Van Morrison, Sturgill Simpson, Brandi Carlile, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and The Commonheart

Severely contemplating getting tickets for Phish's 3-night run in Hampton, VA in October.

I looked into Watkins Glen because I have a camp not too far from there, but it was expensive and I'm not camping out for 3 days unless it's a 3 day Eddie Money festival.

My wife got us box tickets for the Rock at the Park show in Lancaster this summer. This should be a fun lineup from a nostalgia standpoint.
In addition to featuring sets by Fuel, Eve 6, Sister Hazel, Long Beach Dub Allstars, and Fastball, there will be plenty of food and beer/wine (from over 20 local brewers!)

Ghost stopped their show in Milwaukee last night after a medical emergency with a fan. Seems the guy had a heart attack and passed away. Terrible...can't even imagine.

That aside, their new album is FANTASTIC.

Slayer was fantastic. Just a brutal, unrelenting onslaught from start to finish.... but Anthrax stole the show. For a seven song set they were fantastic.

When we saw Anthrax they were between Joey Belladonna stints. Scott Ian had to do the crowd up pumping, and it was sad.

My OP has been updated following this year's Bottlerock excursion.

Justin Timberlake played a concert for a conference I attended last week. Music was not really my thing but I will say he and his band put on a heck of a show. Enjoyed more than I thought I would.

Mrs Tif saw him in Vegas a few years ago, and the crowd started filing out - as you do - when the house lights came up at the end. But several hundred fans stuck around, so Mrs Tif and her group were like "What's all this?" so they waited a bit. And about five minutes after 95% of the crowd had left, the band and JT came out for an encore....... they played Dick In A Box.

That's about as excellent as you can get as a pop star imo.

Saw Lindsay Lou & The Flatbellys at the Arts Fest this weekend. They were great. I also stuck around for Ricky Skaggs. That was okay I suppose.

has anyone been to a concert at hersheypark stadium? if you have floor seats, is there actually a view or is better to sit in the stands?

I know this is REALLY late but just saw this post. Hersheypark is the worst venue I have ever been to. There are basically two lines for beverages for the entire stadium. I waited in line for an hour during the warmup to get a beer.

Parking is a giant pain in the ass and unless you have VIP parking you are trekking a mile across the highway.
