Heart and Joan Jett tonight. Missing Elle King opening now.
Joan Jett always kills. I can take or leave Heart. I think it's because I had a bad experience seeing them for the first time - every other song was a Zeppelin song. Dear Ann Wilson - I want to hear you sing HEART songs, not covers of Robert Plant.

Only Stairway during the encore.

When they were touring with Jason Bonham, they played a bunch of Zeppelin stuff with him and his band .

Just because of how rare they are to see solo and how great it was, I'm adding Rufus du Soul to my list...what a turn out for a Tuesday too...

Bonham's band from the 80s (inspiringly called 'Bonham') was such a Zep ripoff machine. Some of the songs were okay, and I do enjoy listening to them. But it's like, come on guys.... this is sort of a weird look.

Meh, it's like most kids that came into the family business. Not as good as the originator, but still good.

Just saw Peter Frampton play a charity event. Sucks that he's being forced to retire due to health issues, because he's still got the chops. What a show.

saw a doors cover band (Peace Frog) at the Lamp Theater in Irwin. What an incredible intimate and comfortable place to see a show. The band was very good, I think every person in the sold out theater was 20 years older than the wife and I. Very fun. Nice to see that community support such an awesome venue.

We saw Sail On: The Beach Boys Tribute there back in May. I had no idea The Lamp even existed. It was a GREAT venue. Looks like they have lots of tribute bands play there. Once I get through busy season at work, I'll have to check the upcoming shows again.

Tribute bands can be really great. The Fab Four, The Atomic Punks, Led ZeppAgain, Iron Maidens.... shoot, even GayC/DC was a hoot.

I do not count Steel Panther, as they are more in the vein of Spinal Tap as a parody than a tribute. But they are not less awesome for it; I've seen more boobies at a Steel Panther show than at some strip clubs. So they make the list for that alone.

Little Italy Days this weekend in Bloomfield has an Earth, Wind, and Fire tribute band as well as an Elvis impersonator.

All the Stones tribute bands that I've attempted to sample have sucked...conveniently though, they are currently unnecessary...

Haven't seen them live since 2004 during the disastrous Coventry festival

"What Phish Sounds Like To People Who Don't Like Phish"

Which, now that I think of it, is kind the OG 'bad lip reading' video.

When we went to Vermont, there was miles and miles of people backed up in cars on the highway trying to get in. I had enough and went around the line on the berm of the road with windows down yelling sucker to all the hippies. Next thing I know I have a state police behind me with its lights on speaking into his megaphone saying "Hey Pennsylvania (licence plate), you are going to Canada". All the hippies started cheering and the police escorted us up to the Canadian border to turn around and get out of line. Little did we know, there was no line coming in the other way and we got into the show while all those suckers had to leave their cars and hike in. Haha

:thumb: I'm trying to get some with my brother, he's been to hundreds of shows, I'd meet for beers. Didn't we meet up in Columbus before at a pens game? I'm so bad with who is who on here.

I don’t think my hearing will ever come back, but they were **** awesome. So tight and absolutely on point and Dickinson is just incredible. The absolute GOATs.
