Iron Maiden **** slayed.
I don’t think my hearing will ever come back, but they were **** awesome. So tight and absolutely on point and Dickinson is just incredible. The absolute GOATs.
It didn't seem overly loud to me, but I was on the floor. Or maybe my hearing is already f'd lol.

Was 13 years since I last saw them, but they are still kicking ass and taking names.

You're hearing is f'd lol. Was definitely one of the loudest shows I've been to at PPG.

Anyway, I agree, they rocked.

First time we saw Maiden was the Somewhere Back in Time your around ten years ago. They opened with Aces High (my favorite Maiden song), and the rest of the set was very much a "here is why we are awesome" compendium. The next two times we saw them, they were promoting new albums, and played a combined total of like four songs we knew.

They open with Aces High this time, and played many of their most notable songs.

Not bad, you'll have a head on view of the stage. I'm up in 207. Was in 109 last time.

Yeah. Was a little loud toward the end of the first set in 2017 but I was also about 10 rows or so up to the left of the stage so I was down close. I'm guessing it wouldn't be as bad from farther away.

Saw Descendents at the Roxian last night. They were on my short list of bands that I wanted to see and did not disappoint. Mostly stuck to their more popular songs, but had a few newer songs that I didn't recognize. Two encores, which I definitely didn't expect the second.

The setup itself is quite interesting.
At least two bars that I saw: one downstairs that wraps around the left in an L shape and moves quickly. Never waited more than 5 minutes for a drink. The second is upstairs right off the balcony. I'm guessing there might have been a third bar way up in the level above the balcony. From what i heard last night, there is a separate pit level that is in front of the stage that is lower than the general admission floor area.
Balcony seats had plenty of room and a good view of the stage below. There was a skybar/skybox (heard it called both last night, not sure which is correct) that was past the last row of balcony seats. I'm still not sure how well the view is from that angle.
Parking is similar to that of Mr. Smalls: first come, first serve on the streets with a small lot behind the Roxian.

Got my tix to The Black Crowes this morning. GOD, I'm excited.

Though, 8/1/2020 is a long ways off. PLEASE let the Brothers Robinson hold it together!

saw the Marcus King Band at Mr Smalls. Besides being a pretty good show, I thought they were too big and loud to be playing there, the sound was a bit muffled. The opening act, Ian Noe was terrific. He definitely has an Arlo sound to him which I greatly enjoyed. I was a big fan.

I've seen them twice, once opening for Lennz Kravitz and the other time playing with Jimmy Page, which was (as you might expect) sort of half Crowes and half Zep. The latter was a two-night stand at The Greek Theater that was recorded for a live album; Page was so blitzed the first night (the show I was at) and characteristically sloppy that I think were only able to use two songs from that performance on the record, but seeing them play Nobody's Fault But Mine remains one of the live music highlights of my life.

They absolutely slay. Such a fantastic live band.

Yeah, it's basically the Robinson brothers and hired musicians, which is odd.

I saw them with Jimmy Page back in the day also. One of my top concert experiences, and I have been to many.

Hmmm... Todd Rundgren sounded good but seemed like he’s prefer to be anywhere else.

Rascal Flatts as part of a festival was just terrible.

Widespread Panic in 93 or 94 was awful, but I had seats that were at angle behind the stage, so I couldn't see all of the band and it sounded like ass. Not a big fan of them anyway, but I got free tickets.

Rascal Flatts was terrible in concert. We saw them at the SBC in Camden as a part of the XTU summer series. No charisma or excitement.
