Naturally, Deadspin in their neverending bleeding heart stance is calling out the other players for criticizing Bell and "carrying the water for ownership". I think I'm finally finished with DS. I enjoy some of their stuff but everything is turned into a war against corporations, ownership, Republicans, etc. And I've become pretty damn pro player over the years.

I go for Magary and the occasional highlight and that’s about it. I enjoyed the site before everything became a **** social issue. Most of their writers don’t know jack **** anyways.Naturally, Deadspin in their neverending bleeding heart stance is calling out the other players for criticizing Bell and "carrying the water for ownership". What they (and twits like Maurice Jones-Drew) fail to acknowledge is that the Steelers offered Bell a deal that would have made him the highest paid RB in the league and he turned it down. They didn’t strong arm him or try to avoid signing him longterm. The franchise tag structure is something the NFLPA agreed to. If ya don’t like it, demand it be changed in the future, but don’t try to turn getting paid $14MM into a sob story. That's my take. Look, I get that sports and politics are intertwined at times but good lord they take themselves SO seriously
What we have going on now with these asshats turning everything into a social issue is a demolition of the **** that used to matter. Sportsmanship, being a good teammate, sacrificing yourself for the betterment of the team, trying to win a **** Super Bowl, etc. Everyone of note on that roster sacrificed more money on the open market in favor of being a Steeler and working together to win a Super Bowl. But **** all them so one dadhole can “get his”. For a site full of writers that are so open with their socialist ideals it’s amazing to me how quickly the one becomes more important than the whole when given the opportunity to stick it to the evil owners.
TLDR: everyone is a Canaan.

I assume that both Haden and DeCastro are out, since I didn't see any updates on them. The #Steelers are a little banged up, but QB Ben Roethlisberger (right elbow), TE Vance McDonald (foot), DT Cameron Heyward (knee), and CB Artie Burns (toe) — listed as questionable — are expected to play vs. the #Chiefs, sources say.
