Consecutive weeks on SNF. Nice.

How often does a team get two games flexed in one season?

EDIT Goddammit people are doing this to me on purpose now.

NEVER MIND

Isn't this three games flexed? Two out of prime time and one in? I thought one of the recent games was moved.

The upcoming game against the Jags was supposed to be a night game

Right, thanks. So Weeks 11, 13, and 14 were all flexed one way or another.

Yeah, just like how Bell was flexed to teamless NTP66 two days ago.

Sounds a lot like Eli Rogers and Olasunkanmi Adeniyi are getting activated.

Rogers for Justin Hunter would make sense but who does Adeniyi replace?

Didn't Chickillo get injured in the last game?

Faneca is a damn no brainer. Ward is obviously a lot messier. My heart really wants to see him get in, I know he got a lot of hate on the old board but I loved watching him play. That said,I know his stats weren't astronomical either. I do think the total package should count for something, and he was the best blocking WR of all time.

They should inactivate UPS waste of space Jesse James.

The best blocking WR nonsense annoys the hell out of me. Does anyone know or care of the best fielding pitcher of all time is? No, because its not relevant.

No one ever game planned for Hines Ward. No one said "if hines ward has a good day, we will lose." bettis? sure. the 2000s stillers defense? oh hell yes. but ward? No.

Greg Maddux but that's beside the point.

no, everyone assumes greg maddux was the best fielding pitcher of all time because he was the best pitcher of his time. there was probably some schmuck that started 100 mlb games that was a better fielder but no one knows about him because no one cares

They made a new rule so WRs couldn’t block like Hines ward did anymore. He was ridiculously effective and he was one of the greatest possession WRs of all time. Do I think he is HoF, fringe at best, but yes people game planned for Hines Ward. I doubt teams wanted their linebackers killed, so they knew where he was in a formation.

While this gentleman’s takes have been above the line for years and especially during this season in which the mighty Super Panthers are the only of the three local teams collegiate American football squadrons competing for a championship, this is a bad take.

Conner leads the NFL in rushes of over 20 yards. That’s a reflection of the impact that wide receivers can make blocking at the second level. This take is particularly surprising given that this gentleman has watched A Aaron Mathews seal the edge countless times or bulldoze some poor DB 20 yards downfield this season while one of his teammates took it to the house.

Game plan for WR blocking? Of course not, in any real, substantive way. Do I care if someone like Tony “the Business is Booming imo” Brown is blocking downfield? Not really. But there’s value there imo, and if you’re elite at it, certainly relevant.

lets pump the brakes here, brown. I never said downfield blocking was irrelevant. It just isn't a reason to put a WR with a lot of longevity but was never a game breaker or a big play receiver into the hall of fame here. downfield blocking is a skill but not the type of skill that puts guys into the hall of fame.

KTK is right. I appreciate Hines's blocking ability but it counts for practically nothing on a HoF ballot, like it or not.

Who votes for the Hof? I can see dinosaurs getting their jimmies in a rustle over Ward and him get in no problem.
