Ahh, the great Chad Scott. He was drafted about twenty picks before fellow CB Sam Madison, who was a perennial Pro Bowler for Miami. Some of the other guys that were drafted later? Ronde Barber (ouch), current inmate Darren Sharper, and Jason fcking Taylor.

Do we know 4pm has actual meaning? Everything everyone has reported about this so far has been completely wrong so I'm weary about getting my hopes up.

Le'Veon Bell is not reporting to the Steelers by the 4 pm deadline today and is now ineligible to play the remainder of the 2018 season, source tells ESPN. His season is over.

Bell will become an unrestricted free agent this winter, when the bidding for his services will begin.

The Canaan finally did something right. Good riddance. I hope he tears every ACL and MCL in his body right before signing his next contract.

QB franchise tag or transition tag. The compensatory 3rd would/should come just due to losing him in free agency.

Looks like they will be in good cap shape next year. Assuming they get Foster to come back, they are going to have few holes to fill and some money to spend. Seems like they should also be able to cut Bud Dupree and save a lot of cash, but I don't know how the cap works with dead money and the June 1 date.

I'm joking. My only concern now is Conner gets injured and we roll into the playoffs with a 2-deep of Samuels/Ridley at RB. But what were the Steelers to do about that?
