Looked good running. Blocking still poor and I worry he’s going to get injured every time he touches the ball, however.


Poor defense, missed tackles by everyone and Matakevich is not a starter. Let’s hope that trend doesn’t go into the regular season.

Howard Eskin of WIP in philly says the NFL is investigating if the Steelers used an under inflated football in last night’s preseason game. Eskin says he saw the football in question and it looked “like a marshmallow”

Did AB really arrive 4 hours late for a scheduled appearance at PCH? I only see Madden dragging him for it. (As if anyone else in the media would criticize a steeler) But Pittsburgh Dad Jr. is in full on defense mode for Brown. Basically he at least showed up, and thats all that matters. Some kids and parents that were waiting had to leave before he finally got there. I don't see how you excuse something like that.

A fan put on a full uniform and made it past security at Steelers training camp this morning, just missing getting to take part in practice before he was exposed.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that the fan attempted to take part in drills with the team before he was escorted off the field.

If they were full-contact drills, the security guards who pulled the fan off the field probably saved him from great bodily harm. Shoulder pads and a helmet aren’t enough to protect the average Joe from the hits an NFL player would deliver.

The fan was wearing a No. 43 jersey, which Troy Polamalu wore and which the Steelers haven’t issued since Polamalu retired after the 2014 season.

It is unclear whether the fan is facing any type of charges for trespassing on the practice field. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin declined to discuss the incident when reporters asked him about it after practice.

One of those people who isn't rushing to conclusion as to why he showed up late? Yes, I am. The complaints I've read on virtually every article had people crying about how he shouldn't have bothered showing up at all, which is absurd.
