In the deepest and quietest hallows of my soul I keep hoping to see a tweet announcing Munchak is replacing Tomlin. I won't allow that hope to see the light of day as it will be sadly crushed immediately.
Munchak isn't even the right answer. But the validation of interest in him from outside organizations piques my interest that he might be more than just a mouth attached to a Rooney butthole.

Seems the Big Ben hate tour continues to roll on with Sanders getting involved. For all of these guys getting upset with Ben talking on a local radio station. None of them see the hypocrisy of burning Ben at the national level.
Also, some of these guys have incredibly fragile egos.

What happened? I don't give a **** if Ben tells a reporter that one of the WRs needs to step up. He was 100% correct in calling out guys like Washington and Bryant. Grow a pair.

Does Ben seem like a real big Richard head, sure. But I'd say Brown's ego is the bigger problem.Seems the Big Ben hate tour continues to roll on with Sanders getting involved. I thought the radio show after the Denver game was stupid as hell. Brown's one of the greatest WRs of all time, and he doesn't need Ben going on his show and complaining that his route wan't flat enough when Ben threw an absolutely garbage ball and made a terrible decision. Doing it with Washington who is a rookie is one thing, but the constant needling of his more veteran teammates in public is corny as hell. Even if you think he's earned the "right to be a bad teammate" -- that's an actual phrase that came out of his mouth -- maybe use some common sense and manage your relationship with Brown differently than you would Washington. What happened? I don't give a **** if Ben tells a reporter that one of the WRs needs to step up. He was 100% correct in calling out guys like Washington and Bryant. Grow a pair.

I personally love it. Push Ben out, and you're a .500 team at best until you find a serviceable to good QB. Keep Ben, and you're going to upset the position players because they're not more important than the 2 time SB winning franchise QB.

I just think the radio show should go away. Ben at this point shouldn't be working to blame someone two days after the game if he can't do it the 20 minutes after.
I do find that to be chickensh*t at times, and of course the Fan is going to lobby him to be "truthful," but it's just not needed. Especially if he can't see how it's causing issues.

Goofus says:
Gallant says:“This was a … play where I’m reading the safety to the weakside where AB is, and if the safety comes down and takes away the run, I pull the ball back and throw the ball to Antonio, who is supposed to be running a real flat, down-the-line kind of route … [The cornerback] did undercut AB … that’s where I talked to AB, like ‘AB you have to come flat. You can’t drift in the end zone or those undercuts happen.'”
I need to make a better decision on that play. Its third down, and we have another shot at it. I talked to AB after the game about the play and how we want to run that next time, both my throw and how he runs that route, and we'll get it right next time.

Yeah, calling out your teammates in the media or on a radio show is never a good decision. A real leader keeps that **** in the locker room where it belongs. I don't ever recall Crosby or Mario calling out teammates in public. Now they may have gotten a coach or two fired but they do that behind closed doors.

What I did like about Sanders was the compare-contrast between Ben and Peyton. He was like, "Look, this isn't meant as a dig on Ben or anything. It's just a statement of fact that Peyton was on a different planet in terms of leadership."
But I agree that it's generally bad form for the highest-paid employee of the organization to go into the media and badmouth guys by name. That's not cricket.

I think boycotting practices if the coach is there is not exactly 'behind closed doors'. lolNow they may have gotten a coach or two fired but they do that behind closed doors.

Reminds of BizNasty's story about Lemieux and Edzo. Obviously Edzo is no Bowman and Mario was an owner/player, but still...

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/2576 ... really-badHall of Famer Jerry Rice said Monday during a radio interview that disgruntled Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown wants to play for the San Francisco 49ers "really bad."
Brown posted on his Instagram story Sunday an image of a FaceTime conversation with Rice, who was asked by 95.7 The Game on Monday what was discussed.
Asked by the station if he got the sense Brown would want to play for the 49ers, Rice answered: "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He wants to come here really bad.
"He's talking about running the hill with me -- doing all that and just working out and just picking my brain. I don't know if it's going to happen because it's going to be up to [coach] Kyle Shanahan and also [general manager] John Lynch, but I'm all for it if they want him to come on board."
