Former Steelers RT turnstile Mike Adams lost weight and is trying to make a comeback as a TE.

Pretty sure that's just what it looks like when a guy loses 70 pounds.

If watching the Biggest Loser taught me anything, it's that skin doesn't just magically un-stretch when you are that big.

Mike is always working out around Hermicash. I always thought he seemed pretty slim for a lineman but it's obvious he is skinny af now. Super nice guy so best wishes for him

Ray Fittipaldo @rayfitt1
Antonio Brown said he doesn’t feel free to speak his mind. He said he took some time off from OTAs to spend time with his family. More coming on a story
Why can't we go one month without someone on this team saying something stupid.

There was a "story" on Barstool yesterday about how AB wears white socks whenever he is at the swimming pool.

I find no sympathy for that guy. He routinely advertises what he's doing, where he's at, saying stupid things. You don't get it both ways. A majority of it, like the Bell stuff is self-inflicted stupidity.

More AB: “I took a moment to get my mind right [during OTAs]. It’s not even serious. It’s not even mandatory. It’s volunteer. You guys create a story about how I don’t want to throw with rookie QBs. It’s all about you guys making people a marked man when it’s not even like that.”

When AB asked ”Are we really free?” I felt that.
This team is the least-likable version of the Steelers ever.

Ahhh, I never get tired of multi-millionaire NFL athletes insinuating that they are slaves. I'm sure Frederick Douglass would empathize with the plight of he and AB.

It's sad, really, and a big reason why I do not really get emotionally invested in this team anymore. I have never bought into the whole Steeler mythos that made this team different from others, but that said, the team *was* different 10-15 years ago. I love AB's on-field performance, but there's no question he and Bell's toxicity has spread throughout the locker room. Doesn't help that Roethlisberger is halfway checked out and was never really a big leader to begin with.

This is probably the one thing I do blame Tomlin for. Something like this only happens to the Patriots when a player leaves. That all being said, they weren't referring to themselves as slaves, more like they can't go anywhere or do anything without something being written about them.

Again, AB has made it that way by always putting stuff out there to see. The team can just get bent.

I do think the press dynamic has gotten a little over the top in recent years. There are so many outlets with so many douchebags making a living in the media world, we were doomed to have to deal with all these meta stories where the press is reporting the players talking about how the press is making all these bad press stories.

I think I'm about ten years older than you, iirc. So I grew up in the era when that 'mythos' was forged. When I was born, the Steelers franchise had one (1) playoff win its four-decade existence, and had only played two other playoff games total in that time. Put in perspective, the 2005 Superb Owl champs won four playoff games that year alone. So I really do believe there was once something that separated this franchise from the others.

However, with the turn from a tough-as-nails defense-wins-championships identity to one with offensive (two meanings) juggernauts that lose two games at home to the Jaguars in the same year, a lot of that aura has been dimmed.

Between AB and Ben being drama queens and Bell refusing to sign for anything less than $15 million, this team can honestly go **** itself.
