I can buy general criticism of spending a high-ish pick on not defense. But when you single out the guy that was drafted at your position, it's a really bad look.

Wonder if it has anything to do with this?

Why should you be excited about our third round pick, @Rudolph2Mason?

Can't wrap my head around this sentiment"
Then they drafted Mason Rudolph, a quarterback, in the third round and tried to convince the world they had a first-round grade for him. That’s nonsense, considering they passed on him twice and just about every other team passed on him three times. This was a wasted pick. He isn’t going to challenge for the starting job any time soon and may never even develop into a legitimate backup.
So they should have drafted Rudoph higher than they needed to in order to justify saying they had a first round grade on him.

I thought it was obvious he was going to be at best challenging for the starting position in his 3rd year.

Ben Roethlisberger on the radio just now: “As far as I know, I’m still the starter.”

Ahhh. All the maturity and petulance of a **** toddler. This is going to devolve into a Favre-Rodgers situation because Ben is a **** diva.
lol oh my god. He's setting himself up to have to continue this drama when he has the inevitable 3 interception game.

There is no positive way to spin what he said. It's abhorrent from a teammate perspective.

If there's an opportunity to come off like an ass, we know that Roethlisberger will seize it.

When asked if he has talked to his new teammate, Roethlisberger referred to Rudolph’s “Ben Roethlisberger does not have to teach me anything. It’s my job to learn” comments to Penn Live last week sounding somewhat perturbed when asked if he’d help guide the rookie.

”I don’t think I’ll need to if he said he doesn’t need me. So if he asks me any questions I might have to point to the playbook, ya know”, the veteran quarterback said. But he followed that up by saying how the rookies haven’t arrived yet.
This **** guy man. What a Canaan.

I legitimately think Ben didn't realize it was a compliment that Rudolph said he's going to come in and try and absorb as much as possible and that he would watch Ben without Ben having to tell him to watch.

He either understood and still said the nonsense, or he's just really stupid.

Help him pick a better number that "2", which screams 'backup' or 'bust'.

So the 'throwback' jersey this year will be from '78-'79. This is a good take imo.

The throwbacks are awesome. Block letters for life. The photo shoot with Juju is hilariously bad.
