And if he's asking for $17m, we need to go plaid now.

Of course they do - which is why I don't think you can compare Brown vs. Bell holding out. Bell knows he's on less borrowed time than Brown...

After Pouncey and Ben, Bell has the most touches on the team, right?

In games he's played or over his contract period?

Don’t running backs always get the most touches?

Even given the number of games he's missed, I wouldn't be surprised if he was still #3 on that list looking at it from a contract term pov.

No. The city doesn't have time for crybabies who whine that they aren't making enough millions.

Bell is not an idiot, but man is he acting like one. Comparing himself to Brown sounds legit initially (as far as value to the team right now), but the point that Bell is missing is that his position is inherently easier to find a viable replacement, and his shelf life is inherently shorter.
Does anyone think the Browns are stupid enough to take Bell and Bryant for the first overall pick so we can draft Saquon? I mean, no one is that stupid, but are the Browns?

Not sure what the Steelers did to have to open in Cleveland twice in a row

That's a tough stretch from Weeks 9-12.

Pittsburgh Steelers
Thanks to a random but significant quirk, the Steelers could have the AFC North wrapped up by midseason. How? They play five of their six divisional games between Week 1 (Cleveland Browns) and Week 9 (Baltimore Ravens), and only one more over their final eight games. If the Steelers perform well in those games -- and, overall, they have the NFL's easiest first half of the season based on opponent's 2017 winning percentage -- they could bury the Browns, Ravens and perhaps the Cincinnati Bengals early and provide all three little chance to make up ground. Pittsburgh's final divisional game will come in Week 17, at home against the Bengals.
Ugh:
Fox/Thursday Night Football
The NFL took care of its newest prime-time partner with a Thursday night schedule that looks awfully competitive on paper. Fox will simulcast 11 Thursday games with the NFL Network, beginning with a sharp Week 4 matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams. Eight of the 11 games feature at least one 2017 playoff team, including both Super Bowl LII teams. Rivalry games include San Francisco 49ers-Oakland Raiders, Green Bay Packers-Seattle Seahawks, Indianapolis Colts-New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles-New York Giants. According to a NFL.com report, Fox asked the league to shift some of its premier Sunday afternoon games to Thursday night to boost the package. The league appears to have obliged.
Great...so we'll take games that would have been really entertaining on Sunday and turn them into boring slogfests on Thursday instead.

@JFowlerESPN

From Weeks 11-14, the Steelers will travel 4,840 miles (Jax, Oakland, Denver). And that's before they get a New England-New Orleans gauntlet the next two weeks.
I’m already preparing myself to feel disappointed from mid-November to late December.

This isn't a super tough schedule in terms of competition, but they way the games are arrayed, with those front-loaded divisional match ups, and four consecutive road games against not terrible teams, etc..... yeah, I'm not overly optimistic here.
