Most missed tackles forced as a runner and a receiver through the first 5 weeks this season:

James Conner - 32
Saquon Barkley - 27
Kareem Hunt - 26
Lynch, Gordon, McCaffrey - 23

@JamesConner_ is one hard man to bring down! #Steelers
Not bad James. Also, while I haven’t said it, but others who know about and know the Giants are saying that Barkley may be a “bust.” I will be reviewing it myself to confirm that he is a “bust”
I hear a lot of chatter on Barkley being the next "Enis" or "Ki-Jana Carter." It's unfortunate
ulf, hello. More and more people are talking about this:

https://www.theringer.com/2018/10/10/17 ... li-manning
Barkley ranks 15th in the league in rushing yards per game (61.6), just behind the undrafted Phillip Lindsay of Denver. But that figure hides how inefficient Barkley is on a per-game basis: As Vincent Verhei of Football Outsiders wrote this week, Barkley’s rushing yardage overwhelmingly comes from breakaway runs for long gains, but he barely gets any yardage on the majority of his carries. That dichotomy was exemplified Sunday, when Barkley earned 50 yards on two carries and negative-2 yards on his other 13.
Is Barkley a poor man's Willie Parker, only with a bad attitude? I do not think so, but the questions are mounting from folks. I need to look at who drew it, though.
Sad. It seemed as if despite his schooling choice and the bad atmosphere he was surrounded with that he kept a good attitude and work ethic. Appears perhaps that's not the case as the facts emerge

The Gigantes have a bottom-five offensive line. That they generate positive yardage on any run is a bonus.

From Adam Schefter
NFL fined its co-sack leader, TJ Watt, $20,054 for “forcibly hitting in the knee area or below” Falcons’ QB Matt Ryan, per source. The league office instructed the Steelers to deduct the money from Watt’s paycheck if he does not appeal.

Oh JFC. This feels like more retaliation for Tomlin's comments.

It's not going to be too long before some nutter like Michael Bennett completely loses it after one of these marginal calls and just goes, "**** it; if I'm gonna get a PF every time I touch the QB, Imma earn it," and then goes out and skull spikes some hapless passer like Chewie after they freed the slaves on Kessel.

At this point, I’m looking forward to one of them just snapping and pile driving a QB into retirement. Just hope it’s not OUR QB.

Is Bell back after the bye week?

I like the idea of adding a player like Bell to the lineup. With Conner rolling at the moment, you can ease him into games with the likelihood of Bell taking over the starting role as December rolls around.

Are you serious? You want to have Bell be the starter at some point this season? The hells the matter with you?

Yeah, **** that. If he has to play, line him up as a WR.

Yeah **** Bell. Urinating Tree talked about the Steelers possibly putting a 2 week roster exemption on Bell when he returns, which would **** over his payday once again. That would be hilarious.

**** Bell. He lost his starting job by being a delusional, selfish dadhole. Last thing I want is his personality back on this team. Conner, Gurley, and Elliott are tied for the league lead in 100 yard games (a whooping 1 behind Bell's total from last year), Conner is second to Gurley in rushing TDs, already has more runs of 20+ yards than Bell did all of last season, and has proven himself to be capable at picking up the blitz and catching balls out of the backfield. Bell can go **** off on a jet ski.

I was thinking yesterday. What kind of reception is he going to receive his first home game? His first touch?

I hope and pray the boos rain down upon him with such great vile and vengeance that he openly weeps and is forced into retirement

All we be forgotten with his first TD right up until they're eliminated from the playoffs.

I think the booing would be very noticeable on TV. And if he got tackled for a loss? Even worse.
