So not arguing the stance, but how did they end up suspending Bryant for the Twitter thing? They openly stated they weren't playing Bryant.
I honestly don't remember them suspending Bryant over a tweet, but that's probably just bad memory. What happened there?

weed suspensions from the NFL office, sure.

Look, Kerry collins is cowering in fear, just like other, unnamed UPS football players

Tomlin said yesterday they suspended Bryant because it was an "attack" on another player. Which was that whole JuJu call-out thing.

No clue. I would guess there's a real suspension -- you lose a week of pay and are prohibited from dressing under a specific CBA rule -- and then whatever the Bryant thing was, where the team made a decision to not play him but he still got his game check.

Bryant was just deactivated for the game, not truly suspended.

I mean it's semantics at this point. Sure, by definition he wasn't suspended, he was benched. I think either way AB should have something done like that, even if it's a half or something. The Steelers made it work to discipline a player before, they absolutely could have done it again.

Antonio Brown on sideline behavior Sunday: "I'm not on the sideline begging for the ball or making statements you guys make. I’m pissed off. We’re losing. We suck.”

I dont think that would change his behavior in any way. Fining him is the only thing that might get through to him imo.

Antonio Brown's a competitor, just wants to win. Everything that happened Sunday was an invention by the media. Glad that's cleared up. I totally expected him to go with a cliched response, so, kudos to AB for facing the music.

I particularly liked his "I'm not running from anything, I'm here, let's talk about it."

Saying this you know, after he left Sunday before media could get in, and skipping practice Monday.

Unfortunately not, DD. This was probably my favorite:
TY for winning us game in San Diego
TY for winning us snow game in Buffalo
TY for badass TD catch vs. Jax in playoffs to keep us in it
TY for picking up Suggs blitz on XMas to win division
TY for making Kirkpatrick your dodint

TY for erasing it all & quitting on your teammates.
In other news, per Schefter:
Steelers now listening to trade offers for RB Le’Veon Bell, league sources tell ESPN.

Who’s the worst team in the NFC? Trade him there.

Send him to the Giants. He can beat Philly twice a year maybe. And he’ll have an aging or rookie QB.

That and he’ll likely get wrapped up in the big city.

Wouldn’t he have to sign the tender before being traded? And if he’s being traded to some **** team, why would he sign it?

Didn't they just draft a RB?

No. He can be traded without signing the tender and the team trading for him can pay him more than the franchise tag amount on a one year deal, but a long-term deal cannot officially be signed until after this season.

If the Steelers let him walk in the off-season they'll get a third round compensatory pick. I don’t know what trading his fatass for what’s left of the 2018 season with no guarantee that he’ll re-sign with that team would net in return, but at least the headache will be gone.

Regardless of all that, I could see a team like the 49ers (McKinnon signed long term but out for season, currently wasting the first full year of the Jimmy G era) be interested in Bell’s services for this season and then allow him to hit free agency in 2019.
