What's with all the hamstring injuries this yesr
Steelers have the worst trainers in professional sports. Or was that the Pens?

Something something the coach's system makes players get hurt.
This was probably the dumbest thing I ever read. Not just here, or lgp, but period. Like, my jaw dropped.

I still can't believe they were actually serious about that.

Not going to be surprised at all if the Browns beat the Steelers. Their offense was the only thing really holding that team back last year and their defense improved overall.
Easily your worst take, ever.
It's a bad take, that the Steelers beat them last year by 3, and then by 4? I'm not claiming outright victory, I just wouldn't be surprised which way it goes.

I said last week that the Browns looked improved and might renew the rivalry. I too was laughed at.

the browns are better than they were last year. they will be improved. i wouldnt be surprised if they had a better record than the bungles. HOWEVER even a 4 win season would be a remarkable improvement over last season. steelers win by at least a limas sweed

They were 0-16. When a team is 0-16, there is no one specific thing "really" holding them back.

The coach is softer the Marvin Lewis and that's saying a ton.

I think these games were meaningless for the Steelers, right? Like Landry Jones starting QB level meaningless.

The last one was probably, but they played the home opener and won 19-21 last year.

Bell’s agent was on Brady Quinn’s Sirius radio show and he intimated that Bell won’t be around for some of the regular season.

The biggest surprise to me here is that Brady Quinn has a radio show.

I'm very much ready to get this fiasco with Bell over. It's not even week one and I'm fatigued by this and the whole LIT thing.

I only knew that because sometimes when I am Googling for fantasy news and I get the results for he and Pete Prisco's shitty show.

He doesn't sign by Saturday, he forfeits $852,000. That's nearly a million. Yeah, he'll show us.

Dude made $12MM last year, just over $16MM to date in his career. I wouldn't put having spent all of it past him, but I'm sure he has a decent amount laying around for him to live on. If he misses 10 games, costing himself $8.52MM, but avoids injury for 10 games and gets a $50+MM guaranteed contract next offseason, well I really don't think he's gonna care much about the money he's losing by not showing up. This is all about preserving his health and value. He's a complete moron who isn't going to be offered as much as he thinks he will, but I can see how he can rationalize it.

I can understand the preservation side of it, but you can't tell me that all the other teams aren't thinking he's a jagoff. Some team is going to sign him to a deal, then in a few seasons he's going to sit out and demand more.

I think that's just normal life. I also think teams recognize they're getting him coming off his statistical prime and he's still not going to get what he wants completely.

I honestly don't see him playing past 32, I think he's built for this team, and he's likely going to get demolished behind a worse offensive line.

He’ll sign and play. It’s not just his salary it’s endorsements which often are worth more than what the guys make on their contracts.

Oh, Bell will get his. Yeah, he'll miss out on some money now, but what he's going to get from another team is going to be absolutely looney tunes. He has every right to want what he deserves.

Agent Bakari is taking a very cool and calculated approach that will work best for Bell. I don't blame either of these guys.

Sucks for us. Conner may do OK in the run game if the line is solid, but he's not nearly on Bell's level, quite trying to convince yourselves he is. There's a reason that line went from like -7.5 to -4. Myles Garrett is going to eat Ben for lunch if Conner is in pass protection.

When Bell finally does show up to make his contractual 6 games (or whatever it is) in order to be eligible for free agency, will he get booed mercilessly? I would enjoy that.
