...on a lighter note.
The Big Man (Mark Madden) brought up some good points on his show earlier.
Keith Butler should defer more to the man that is now the most genius defensive mind on the team, Scrap. Scrap has came at the PERFECT time with this young and budding group of DB’s. Many, many, many successful NFL talent has passed through PSU under Scrap’s watch.

If Scrap was any good he'd already have been given a shot.

Martavis facing another suspension. Colbert looks pretty genius with what he got back in that trade

Looking forward to this jamoke being gone.Adam Schefter
Via Le'Veon Bell's agent Adisa Bakari: "His intention was to retire as a Steeler. But now that there's no deal, the practical reality is, this now likely will be Le'Veon's last season as a Steeler."
More: "It became clear the Steelers wanted to pay the position, not the player."

Thankfully Bell is too stupid to say yes. That’s a moronic contract to give a RB, let alone one that has already racked up over 1500 touches. From what I understand, the #Steelers’ final offer to RB Le’Veon Bell was 5 years, $70M with more than $30M over 2 years. Last year, the offer was 5 years, $60M. ... Instead, he’ll earn $14.5M on another franchise tag.

I could live with it as in three years Ben will be retired and just playing the odds the team wouldn't have anywhere near the same expectations. Their window is probably this year and next, maybe 2020 if Ben stays in one piece.Thankfully Bell is too stupid to say yes. Maybe he can get 16 or 17 per from someone else, at best? If the only goal is pure profit maximization and you don't care about winning then I guess it's the right decision.

I hope his next contract isn’t guaranteed and his leg falls off in camp.
