If the radio was deactivated and hadn't been powered on for 30 days the deactivate signal no longer sends... At least that's what happened to my Volkswagen when I took the TDI buyback"Sport" just means that it has a few features that a regular Prius doesn't have, the spoiler being the main thing. the spoiler causes me to have slightly worse gas mileage then our other car which yes, is also a Prius. I'm 48 and cheap. I don't need "sporty" or "power" I just need to get from A to B. it also has rooms for 2 hockey bags in the back."Sport"2012 Toyota Prius Sport
during the Summer I average around 44 MPG, less during Winter. I get 400-500 miles per tank of gas. lovin' it!
What? Are the seats bolstered or something? A Prius is a lot of things to many people, I've driven one on multiple occasions, but sporty? Yeah, no.
I bought it used just over 2 years ago and the satellite radio was activated when I did. I don't know who's been paying the bill for the last 26 months but it's not me!
this is almost just like mine with the exceptions that mine is silver and came with the solar sun roof package:

Best part was we planned to get the title in my name and the night before she decided I needed to move out.

Oh no the title is in my name, as is the insurance. She didn't tell them she was kicking me out when it came time to put the title in my name. Got an Xbox out of the relationship too.

It's supposed to be an SUV, but it looks like a station wagon.

I came dangerously close to trading it in this spring/summer and going with a Ford Edge. But I decided to just keep it and pay it off and deal with it later. But thing is 1 giant damn blind spot, the acceleration jerkiness blows, the headlights stink, I could go on and on. Big time buyer's remorse. To the point that I might just lease my next vehicle to make sure I like it, since I feel like I made a bad purchase with the Jeep.I'm with ya. I hate my wife's 14 Cherokee2014 Jeep Cherokee, white.
Given the ability to go back in time and do it all over again, I would not.

For the record, this thread title should be read like Farley or Sandler from the SNL sketch “how much ya bench?”

I purchased this 2011 Honda Odyssey with 60k miles for 13k yesterday @Honda North in Butler. It is our first minivan, and becomes my wife’s daily driver. She was driving a 2007 Saturn VUE with 210k miles. That car now is for when I have to run the kids to soccer or school when my wife is unable. I currently drive a company vehicle.

Minivans are better than SUVs. Well done!

My boys are getting too big to sit three across in the VUE’s backseat

Congrats! We love our Odyssey (2008). I was just looking at Pilots, as we're thinking about going that route very soon. Seem to have better finance deals on Pilots than Odysseys through Honda Financing.

We bought a 2009 Legacy about a year ago as a car for the kids to drive - $9,000 with 72k on it and it has been a huge money pit. Put more than half what we paid for it into the thing since. Head gasket for starters. Timing belt with the head gasket, rear door wouldn’t open, needed both mufflers.....
Peoples response on Subarus is always “well that thing will run forever” and the correct response is “maybe but not cheaply.”
It runs great now though. Always get a used car checked out boys and girls.

The flat engines in the Subaru has been the sticking point where we wouldn’t consider one. The head gaskets just don’t last. My cousin had one go @50k

I love my Subaru and wouldn't buy any other type of car. The head gasket thing was/is an issue. It was on my 2001, hasn't been on any of them since, but I don't run my cars past 100k normally so probably not much of a barometer.

We put 190k on our 2001 Saturn sl we retired 2 years ago; 210k and counting in the VUE. The VUE needed a hole in the frame welded to pass inspection, but it runs nice otherwise. We just drove it out to philly and back during the holidays.
