Yes sir.

@eddy, We are headed up tomorrow AM. Last time I went up I ran into some thru hikers that were camping at Pulpit Rock on their way to Maine. Guy had two small dogs with him in the tent. Crazy.

Used my day off to go scout some deer hunting locations near Crabtree. Trying to find some easy to get into spots I can sunrise hunt before workdays. Sure is pretty out there in the fall.

Yeah. I’ve been using it for a couple of years now but will likely splurge for the paid version to get downloaded trails. Stinks when I was on a trail in Alaska and had no internet so the map itself couldn’t load but GPS still worked

Incredible night sky last night in cherry springs. You could actually see the Andromeda galaxy

Astrophotography mode on Pixel 3a and pixel 4 phone. Got some with the dslr, but honestly, it's not as good as the phone.

Also helps being in one of the darkest place on the east coast, but that's what you see looking up. Zero gravity chairs, whiskey, wine and weed. Just staring up in the sky for hours. Doesn't get any better

For the first time, I'm going to accompany my father in law up to his buddy's nice hunting lodge up in the Adirondacks the first weekend of November. It's a fun group of guys, my wife basically said I need to go because we've all been stuck together for 7.5 months

It's up north of Schroon Lake... Should be excellent.

Pheasant, small game, turkey, deer archery? What are you planning to hunt?

Deer, rifle. Up in the northern zone (essentially north of the Catskills), regular season runs from 10/24 to 12/6

Yup. It's only three weeks in the southern zone.

Speaking of trophy's...got this 160-lb 8-point this morning. Still so weird to hunt when it is 60 degrees.
