Seemingly, only in desktop apps (including mpv player and the start menu) my mouse is just scrolling those to the point that I can't reach the bottom of my start menu and that all of videos' volumes are changed as if someone is using the scroll wheel. I've tried restarting and disabling/re-enabling the mouse, but that doesn't do it. It will not "auto scroll" in Chrome at all...
I've never seen this behavior before...and I don't understand...

I have some songs in wma format that I'd like to convert to mp3s since the Pulsar app on my phone won't play wmas. I used VLC to convert them to mp3s but for some reason, Pulsar still doesn't recognize them. Is there another legit tool that I could try to convert them to mp3s?

Does VLC allow you to choose the codec used to convert to mp3? If so, I’d try a different one. It has been forever since I’ve converted one of those, and honestly I’d just try one of the online converters to see if they work.

As for Mikey, I have no idea what that is. Sounds like your mouse is cursed and you need an exorcist.

Way overboard, but if it was a 3 switch boot? I think I could get behind that.

There are fewer switch throws to start all four engines on a Boeing 747.

PB's interface blows, though. There are alternatives, but nothing that can compare to RARBG. Could always just search using qBittorent directly.

@NTP66, citrix question for you. People connect to an application via citrix web interface and when that app hangs or throws errors the users have to create a ticket to get the citrix session disconnected by IT. Is there a way around that where the users themselves could do the equivalent of opening the task manager and killing the process?

They can try opening Connection Center in their Citrix icon in the system tray and terminating the app from there, but if they get disconnected it likely won’t show or work, meaning the Citrix admins would have to kill the process on the VDA (server hosting the app) itself.NTP66, citrix question for you. I saw something about Connection Center but it looked like it was only available on the server side. They can try opening Connection Center in their Citrix icon in the system tray and terminating the app from there, but if they get disconnected it likely won’t show or work, meaning the Citrix admins would have to kill the process on the VDA (server hosting the app) itself.NTP66, citrix question for you. I'll check that out tomorrow, thanks!

Connection Center is client side, and usually works for hung apps. Or they could try the log off option in there which may work better, allowing the server to handle things.

Are these newer models compatible with the ASUS ac1900? Realized I need another mesh access point to reach a corner of my houseWe've had it in multiple threads, IIRC. I've only ever used Surfboards for my cable modems when I had Comcast, and installed an ARRIS SB8200 at my parents house long ago that has worked well for them. It supports nearly a full GB internet connection:Didn't we just have a router discussion? I can't find it here or in the HT thread. I want to ditch the Xfinity router I'm renting. We've probably paid $400 for it by now at $15/mo.
I may want to use VPN eventually which is why I was looking in the HT thread.
As for routers, I won't recommend anything other than ASUS.
Cheaper option: RT-AX68U
Platinum option: RT-AX86U
I have the AX86U and have nothing but good things to say about it. Handles literally dozens of high bandwidth connections in the house, provides insane coverage, and the GUI is second to none. You'll get that last part with any ASUS router, too. You can also use Merlin's ASUS firmware on most newer models. I have run his firmware for years, and it's solid as hell. He customizes the GUI a little, and adds options that aren't standard that some may enjoy. You can also use a lot of VPN technologies at the router level itself, so all devices on your network go through that connection.
Some of that hardware is a little pricey, but I still recommend going for a refurb option if possible. I know I saw both the cable modem and one of those routers on Amazon Warehouse for considerably cheaper.

thank you.Yes, those models all support AiMesh and will work with one another.
next stupid question - where would you recommend connecting the newest router?
main access point is in family room
we have the other router located in our bedroom which is about 15 vertical feet and 40 horizontal feet away.
the location where we need better coverage is about 50 horizontal feet away from the bedroom where we have our computer, printer, peloton, other connected equipment.

I would use the new RT-AXxxx router as your main router, and if you can get it as central as possible, that'd be the best scenario. The closer that is to your existing router, the better the coverage will be.thank you.Yes, those models all support AiMesh and will work with one another.

I've never used one, but know others that have had success. That's probably one way to get the best connection between both routers since it would be a hardwired backbone, assuming that you have available coax lines in those rooms. With wireless backbone, you're still relying on the second router receiving a strong enough signal so that the devices connecting to it don't have any lag, etc.do you recommend moca adapters?
That said, I would try going the wireless backbone route first to see if the performance is acceptable to you. No need to spend money on MoCA adapters if you can avoid it.
