I'm a 2%er, my wife was a skim milker, we used to buy separate when we first moved in together, but then settled on 1% for a compromise.

milk n00b?

Quick calculations say I've consumed well over 3,000 gallons. I've been drinking 2% for over 25 years. I drank whole milk at my parents' until I was 18. My GF (now wife) drank skim, so we tried 1% as a compromise at first. It was OK to drink, but on cereal it's too watery.

Awesome g.i.f. though

Whole milk only, but it has to be lactose free for me. I wish they would make a half and half version for us lactose intolerant.

Almond is good if you only drink almond. Once you take a sip of real milk you realize you've been had.

When it comes to milk, I'm a traditionalist. None of this fancy pants coconut/almond crap. Give me it straight from the teat.

There's a farm near Edinboro that sells raw milk and unpasteurized cheese. Haven't tried them yet, but have heard good things.
