What was the ultimate disposition of Bens Atlanta case? I know he wasn't charged with anything but I never heard if there was a settlement. I was pissed at the lack of due process back then too so at least I'm consistent.

The Atlanta case went nowhere because the accuser didn't want to press charges. So there was nothing more of it, either criminally or civilly.

From what I remember, the police investigator who questioned BRoeth actually resigned before the formal dispensation of the case amid claims he made some derogatory remarks about the woman to fellow officers.

The "I believe you" tweets from adoring fangirls are not surprising at all. Look at the staggering number of women that sent Rihanna death threats and shade because she had the audacity to get the sht beaten out of her by him. It's the same kind of women that send adoring letters to violent prisoners.

He did not appeal. His suspension was 4-6 games, subject to review based on his conduct. In his statement at the time he even used the phrase "I am accountable for my actions" or something like that.

I'm happy that he might not get away with it, not that he did it. He has displayed narcissistic behavior for years, and shares a lot of common personality traits with Weinstein and his ilk. This isn't surprising at all (if true).
