The Jones accusation:

It would be one thing if these were new revelations. But these matters were publicized and vetted ten years ago, and he has since won two different statewide elections. He won't be taken down.

Another thing to note: This lady's campaign came out of nowhere. There are already four other gubernatorial candidates in the Democratic race, including two high-wattage names. Antonio Villaraigosa and Newsom are polling close to margins-of-error with each other, and Villaraigosa's camp has charged that Renteria has entered the race solely to draw Latino voters to her in a bid to aid Newsom.

But now today she lobs the #timesup grenade at Newsom, while oddly excusing Villaraigosa from open scorn, despite him having extra-marital affairs with two different members of the local Los Angeles TV media while he was mayor.

We all had to take a 90 minute online sensitivity training this week. Fridays are casual here at the office. One guy (who is a little snappy with the comments like I am) is wearing a tie and a vest and such (I figure interview and advertising it). I kind of just touch/stroke my shirt as a signal of "What the heck" to his clothing. He says "I have a meeting and sometimes I just want to look pretty" chuckle, then, "Oh, I hope that I did not cause you undo stress and discomfort in the workplace with that "I'm pretty" comment" We both laughed.

I am not sure if I can continue to work today, I don't feel safe...
