Chapstick and phone in left pocket (unless I'm wearing a jacket then the phone goes in the left jacket pocket) and cards and money in front right. I don't carry a wallet any more as I drive a lot and it was messing up my back because I kept my wallet in back right pocket.Let me ask this, because I don't think it's weird...I think the inverse might be the weird thing...
I keep my cell phone in my left front pocket, my wallet and keys on the right...always...does anyone not have designated pockets for things? Or can you just go about your life just jamming things down your pants at random and it's cool...?

Well, obviously I do it at home, too. It just happens much less at home. I reserve my morning business for when I am on the clock.samesies...left - phone. right - all other thingsLet me ask this, because I don't think it's weird...I think the inverse might be the weird thing...

and @Silentom , i'm taking what you say literally and am assuming if you're home alone for a few days, and notice some smudging in the toilet, you will refuse to act, as you only blast away OTHER people's skidmarks. yes. this is now canon.

My father wore one...not a good look.I do not... mostly because I don't carry pens around in my shirt pocket so there's no need for one.Do you wear a pocket protector?I have designated pockets for sure.

I had this thought the other day - pocket protectors have been replaced by tucking polos and button down shirts into jeans. If you are over 45, this is the new pocket protector. Most pocket protector engineers are long retired.

I saw a man today that...just boiled my blood. So many bad looks, I thought he was trying to look like a bum in like a sarcastic kind of way. I sht you not, 5af.
Golf polo with undershirt tucked into jeans with white new balances and a visor.
Damn near soiled myself.

Wait, button downs aren't allowed to be tucked in?I had this thought the other day - pocket protectors have been replaced by tucking polos and button down shirts into jeans. If you are over 45, this is the new pocket protector. Most pocket protector engineers are long retired.
(I'm 49 and serious.)

Apparently not. It is generally my work attire to have button down shirt tucked into jeans. It’s the same as what 70% of my company wears and the other 30% are just wearing T-shirts because they are on the manufacturing floor all day.

Confirmed. I do admit to occasionally tucking, but usually not.Apparently not. It is generally my work attire to have button down shirt tucked into jeans. It’s the same as what 70% of my company wears and the other 30% are just wearing T-shirts because they are on the manufacturing floor all day.

I don’t wear a lab coat to work. I leave it there to put on when I show up... newb.No lab coat, unimpressive.

I will admit I have un-ironically worn a pocket protector. I still do, on occasion. I even bought a leather pocket protector, but it was a waste of money. The leather looked nice, but it was too thick for the pens to clip over it, and it was also really heavy.
I like to use fountain pens, which can leak on occasion, and some of the inks I use are "bulletproof," which means they chemically bond with the cellulose in paper and cannot be removed even by bleach, alcohol, or other solvents. Cotton is also made of cellulose. Hence, the pocket protector.

Isn't he the one who ran through interstate traffic to fetch car keys?

I think almost without exception that Shyster would be the most interesting poster to meet up with IRL.

Depending on your definition of interesting, I'd agree.

Given his self-described aversion to conversation/speaking I'm not so sure.

Just get him talking about Japan stuff. It'll be cool.

I wonder how large her sample size is for "watching dudes in shower" that she could draw such a conclusion. In terms of weird things I do, or at least my wife says it is...when I wash my hair, instead of tilting my head back to rinse so the shampoo doesn't run into my face, I just stand completely upright in the water stream and close my eyes.
