EPP?
Was my first thought when I saw that username as newest member. This post certainly reinforces that.

In terms of weird things I do, or at least my wife says it is...when I wash my hair, instead of tilting my head back to rinse so the shampoo doesn't run into my face, I just stand completely upright in the water stream and close my eyes.
I wonder how large her sample size is for "watching dudes in shower" that she could draw such a conclusion.
Or she washes her own hair?

It isn’t EPP

Considering the consensus seemed to be that my "eat the same thing for multiple meals every week" practice is weird, it occurred to me that my portioning practices might also be considered weird. I've weighed all of my storage containers, so I know exactly how much food is in each of them, and that lets me precisely measure the portion sizes for each meal. For example, say I make a pork roast with a cooked weight of 18.6 oz. I know I want six meals out of that, so I just have to cut off 3.1 oz. each day. Easy!

If water isn't ice cold I'm not drinking it. Because of that I almost never drink straight water, have to add a drink packet at least.

I don't get the correlation. Wouldn't the drink packet, sitting at room temperature, bring the temperature of the water up?

It doesn't taste like plain water anymore when it has a drink packet. The ice cold water 'tastes' better than tepid water.

I prefer room temp water and it absorbs into your system faster.

That's actually one reason for drinking cold water. Your body has to heat it up first before it can be metabolized, so you actually burn a bit more calories. (It's like +45-50 cals a day)

Cold water burns more calories, because (iirc) your body has to warm it up to digest it/absorb/whatevs.

It’s less than 10 calories per glass of water. Not enough to really concern yourself with.

Lol... no it isn’t. But okay. If you want to feel good about those 50 calories, then go for it.

I probably drink 80-110 oz of water per day...so at 10 cals per 8 oz, that's like...umm...50,000 calories³ or so...nice...I'm fit!

I'd have to drink Shamu's tank to make a difference.

But, if you are dehydrated, the room temp water is better.

If we didn’t already know this, we are polar opposites. I only drink tepid water and never add anything to it.

You bring a hot water bottle on top of the net with you to account the fact that it cools during the game...? If so, that's pretty sick, dude...
