Yea I can't fault them for being kids. But that beyond episode thing is awful. Thanks Hardwick for making this kind of show something that all networks think the fans want.

Watch Beyond Stranger Things and you have it.
Thanks for the tip. Yes, I can see that being very annoying. The nice thing about only watching them in the show is that they are following a script. I don't need to see their real personalities.

They have personalities?
Wife and I watched half of the last episode of BST and it wasn't great. Natalia Dyer was in a backless prom dress and everyone else was just chilling out in street clothes, it was weird.

She looks way better on the show, IMO. Kinda looks sickly in her public appearances, methinks.Natalia Dyer was in a backless prom dress

Especially on Reddit That cast is up on their untouchable list of deities. Although that changes on a dime, as the fall of Nye and Tyson have shown

reddit is so weird. half of the subs are dedicated to making fun of people, but it's also a place where negativity and bullying will not be tolerated.

I was dying to read thru this thread but didn't start watching until a few weeks ago. I was deep into S2 and thought I had to be in the clear for at least page 1, and this is the 2nd post in the thread

The lab seems way too close to the town proper.
Also, if I had to pick a biggest gripe with this show, it would be the fact that somehow no one else in this decent-sized town has any idea what's going on. Odds are there would have been a pretty good panic in town by now, or the dog things (already forgot their name) would have been in a more densely populated area, with more witnesses.

Stranger Things Thread (Spoilers included)
I finally got around to watching season 2 and want to read through this thread, but first...
Loved the finale. The feels... Ouch.
I hated everything with Eleven up until that last episode. If they bring back her "sister" and the others as some sort of super hero gang in season 3, I might stop watching. Loathed all of that nonsense.
Everything else, I liked. I hope Mike is less brooding now. Steve and Dustin are my favorite characters.

Yes, Eleven's arc was not great last season. I honestly have gotten to the point that her parts of the show are my least favorite, despite the borderline creepy internet love affair with her

According to Cindy Holland, Netflix’s VP of Original Content, the third season of Stranger Things, set in 1985, won’t be premiering until next summer, and for a good reason: the Duffer Brothers want it to be better, and larger, than the last one.

This will be like Pretty Little Liars where the high school kids are in their 30s.

That blows
Stranger Things Thread (Spoilers included)
That's a little surprising, because I feel like a lot of the time, Netflix likes binge over story. I'm glad they are waiting and trying to do something better with a story

"Larger" scares me a little. I don't want a spectacle show at the expense of the characters.
