Not owning media is where it's at. The format upgrades will never cease.

Yes. I sold my CDs a few years ago, which only a few months before I had deemed unthinkable.

Yeah I mean if you are looking to make money... no good. I just like being able to look at a vast selection of movies that i have on display. It ties together my home theater area. It's a money pit though no doubt.

Investment? The ROI will be dreadful, I reckon.
lol, probably the wrong word.

We bought a 72" 4K LED about six months ago, and I spent virtually the entire weekend putting an entertainment center together, tucking all the wiring behind, hooking up the sound system, etc. We don't have the 4K bluray player yet though...I suppose that is the next logical step since they are backwards compatible.

That sony would be good. I bought this philips(and not cause I work for them haha) and it has played movies fine that I have put in it so far.
