Anyone heading to the city game tonight?
Bobby Mo already beat Duquesne like two weeks ago.

My Tigers looked great against WVU, until they cranked up the press to 11 and then they folded like a cheap tent. Youngsters will be well served on that one come conference and (fingers crossed) NCAA tourney time. Managed to eek out a win against UCF despite some really poor shooting nights from some regulars. Tako Fall is one big, lanky, and dorky looking (according to my wife) dude.

You caught UCF at a good time since their main scorer is still out. Also helped that you two were in the same tournament last week and you could scout them. Main problem I see with Mizzou is relying too heavily on jumpshots. Go cold some nites and it’s trouble if you can’t work the paint.
Tillman and Jontay need to do a better job staying out of foul trouble and being able to work in the post. They've both got good jumpers, but like you said there will be nights where they'll go cold. You need to be able to bang some home. Jontay especially went 0'fer against UCF after putting up double digits in basically every other game.

I had no idea that Duquesne was only playing with 6 scholarship players due to 5 transfers sitting out the season. That's roughly sledding.

2 of them mediocre at best ex-Akron players that I have no idea how they'll get minutes in the A-10

Pitt is giving more minutes to Chukwuka than he got last year on his JuCo team. When it comes down to it, someone's gotta play.

He was dubbed the "Scandinavian Colander" on Panther Lair. He's awful yet is somehow better/more useful than Boykins, George, Peace, and Brown. This roster is truly awful.

Peace and George must really stink.

I think brown might turn out to be ok

TIL the Penn State men are 40th in KenPom...I've read about that ranking before, but apparently it's pretty widely used in college sports. That is definitely an eye-opener...they are above the likes of OSU, Butler, Syracuse, etc. They just took care of business again today against GW. Really hope they meet their potential, which is most definitely a tournament berth.

State loses to a Rider team with losses to Bobby Mo, Drexel and Hofstra on its resume.

Yarp...bad loss last night. They have some really good talent this year, and Chambers has proven to be a much better recruiter than his predecessors, but this will hurt them if they are on the bubble.

Where are my North Carolina Tarheels fans?

The Wofford game aside, I just love the make up of the team this year. They can hurt you in so many ways.

Hah! The young man is a welcome addition. Can you blame him for leaving a sinking program full of losers for one of the greatest college basketball programs of all time?

And since I know somebody is going to call me out on it - my family is from North Carolina and one of my sons is a current Tar Heel. Great school.

Be pleased as UNC contends for a national championship, like they do every year.

Gotta brag on my mighty Friars for following up a disnal home loss to mediocre Marquette with a 9 point win over JP Macura (who has to be nearing the end of his 10 year contract) and #5 Xavier. Gotta keep it up to even be on the bubble but that’s a nice win to have in your pocket.

Tough loss to Marquette with Bullock being out and that dude going for 52. They looked like a much better team today with Bullock back in the lineup. If they stay healthy, they're gonna be pretty sneaky under the radar.

I think it's time for Penn State to move on from Pat Chambers. They have a lot more talent this year than they have in previous years, but they cannot get over the hump and win these close in-conference games. They've looked competitive in just about every single game they've played, with the exception of the NW game.

Damn, Duke blew the doors off the Panthers last night. I wonder how much time Stallings has left?
