Yeah, that's all anything is anymore...just "gotcha" moments...the basketball player is quoting some rap lyrics...life's tough...

Like diving in the NHL, I'd like to see the people calling this dumb **** out to be punished instead of the person who they are attempting to persecute...

Yes, using the N word is bad, but when you have it on a twitter account reciting a lyric from 7 years ago when you were 14, why bring it up during one of the best moments of your life? Seems everyone is out to find a "gotcha" moment in everyone's lives.

Why do SJW's feel the need to scramble to find 'scandalous' things to tear down people that accomplish great things?

It's unfair that someone is accomplishing something that not everyone else accomplished...this throws the whole participation trophy thing askew...

I mean, what's the harm in co-champions...Big Blue Lives Matter...etc.

Why the hell was the was the game on TBS?
I was wondering the same. The tournament is one of the biggest sports spectator events of the year...was really surprised it wasn't on network TV. Getting the NHL treatment.

Not really getting the NHL treatment. Turner paid the highest money to show it on:

TBS - National Broadcast
TNT - (X) team feed (can't remember if it was Nova or Michigan)
TruTV - (X) team feed (see above)

That's how each of the final 4 games were shown as well.

When they signed the latest contract that put games on all 4 networks, Turner had the option to put the semifinal and championship games on TBS in even-numbered years. In 2016, they took the semis but let CBS do the final. This year, they exercised their option.

I think there’s always some excuse for ratings down or not watching. To me, it doesn’t matter if it’s Western Michigan vs South Dakota on Bravo, I’m still gonna watch.

There ought to be a law against showing National Championship games of any sport on a pay cable channel. CBS, ABC, FOX, and NBC only.
