Hardly controversial.

Did you get to see GOAT?
No :(

They day we had tickets for didn't end up working out (some family event conflicts) so we ended up just waiting the Queue for two different days. We were too late on our first day to see Federer, and he obviously didn't play the second day.

But I did get into Court No 1 and Centre court later in the days, though! I nearly cried when we sat down in Centre court. It was such an amazing experience.

I did get to see Agassi, who was there for promotional stuff, and that was cool. He was one of my favorites.

Great player, but a total incubus. Each of the women he dated dropped down in rankings, while Radek always experienced the opposite fate. :)

After dropping the first set to the Italian bombshell, Serena is off to the semifinals. With how decimated the women's bracket is, she has a wonderful chance to win her 8th Wimbledon and 24th Grand Slam. Good lord.

Seeding her 25th is just ridiculous. She is one of the most incredible athletes I have ever seen.

Yeah, I get that she is getting older but...it's Serena Williams.

I had forgotten how relatively short Steffi Graf's career was. She retired at 30, shortly after losing the US Open final to ... Serena.

Edit: No, BS, she lost the Wimbledon final to Lindsay Davenport. Serena was Indian Wells.

It's crazy just how much she accomplished in such a short career. Her dominance in the late 80s was insane.

How cool is it that Steffi and Agassi are married? Talk about tennis-gifted children...

And Nadal gets through

I'm on team "everyone but Nadal" for the semis/final.
