I have several button-down cardigans I wear in my office. Also have pullover vests and button-down sweater vests. Cardigans and other more-formal-looking sweaters are a great look for business casual and should be perfectly acceptable for office wear.

I’m making strawberry ice cream and the instructions call for soaking the strawberries in 1/2 tbsp of vodka. The alcohol goes into the berries so that they don’t form ice chunks. It’s 1/2 tbsp of vodka for a quart of ice cream.

By my calculation it’s about 0.3% alcohol if you account for the dilution. Is this okay for kids?

Imo, 0.3% is nothing, especially if they’re just having a small bowl of ice cream.

Yeah, I wouldn't be concerned with that concentration.

Compare that to vanilla extract which is 35% alcohol. I know it's not a direct comparison because the alcohol bakes off in a cake, but I still think both situations are negligible.

Yeah. I don’t find it to be an issue, but wife was having none of it. The berries got tossed. The ice cream already had a strawberry jam in it. The fresh berries were just an add on.

I guess there will be no spoonfuls of whiskey for a bad cough in the c2i household.
