I haven't seen WoWS yet. Everytime I try to I see the three hour run time and back out of it.

I did watch Wall Street for the first time this year. And the recent sequel.

I saw Wolf of Wall Street when it was released, I'm pretty good with movie quotes and other pop culture ****, and I had no idea what that was from.

It's a great scene. I think I just have too much bullshit knowledge in my head. And every time I learn a new piece of bullshit knowledge that will never actually help me in my life, I have to discard an old piece of bullshit knowledge that never helped me in my life.

One other thing to consider: internet and memes. A lot of single great lines from modern movies aren't used like they used to be used, but may have been replaced by memes. My generation largely stopped calling people to talk to them. We now text and send pictures. Memes are easier to use in that communication style.

Well, how the hell do I use memes for a message like this?

(This was many years ago, the first time I ever ran that speech. I nearly forgot half of the lines I wanted to say, because I came with that idea 24 hours before the exam. These days, I run on autopilot...)

So, obviously when you take the last paper towel, you replace the roll...but are you also obligated to "start" the roll...?

Odds are you're probably going to be the next user of the roll anyway, so save yourself the hassle and just do it imo

There is a paper towel holder in my new place but it's a pain the ass to use. It's mounted vertically and you have to unscrew the top and then drop the rod out to get the old one. Too much work.

Grabbing a paper towel more often than not is met with a bit of urgency so having a roll started is a common courtesy and you are a lower rung member of society if you don’t.

You just unglue/unstick the start of the roll from the rest of it, so that the next time you go for one it's ready for use.
