I’m more of a banana guy myself… and I drive through the woods quite a bit.How much time to most of you fine fellows really spend driving through the woods and eating apples? This whole, "it's not littering in the forest" seems like a desperate ploy to justify your bad manners.
And I don’t throw plastic bags or coffee cups in the woods. Just fruit remnants.

I was asked a yes-no question of fact. "Is it good" is a subjective evaluation, and I ain't got time fo' none of yo' dang subjectivity in my life right now.

What if it's a biodegradable coffee cup? Wouldn't Mother Earth appreciate that nourishment?

Biodegradable =/= earth nourishment. Humans are biodegradable and they’re terrible for the earth.

So you're saying you don't endorse throwing humans away in the forest?

Depends. Yes, unless it was an article of clothing that no one could have tried on, or it was wrapped in plastic but doesn't have crease marks.

Just trying to make sure my opinion on this doesn’t make me the dadhole here:
College freshman fails an otherwise ok (allegedly) paper due to missing citations
Parent who is also a faculty member contacts professor
Professor changes grade to passing
My opinion:
Failing a paper just for citations is overkill. Dock points for sure but if story is true and the paper didn’t suck- overkill. Less so maybe if syllabus specified you will fail if your citations aren’t done correctly.
College is a time when students learn to become adults. There is zero chance of me contacting a college professor on behalf of my child to change a grade. Call your own professor about your grade, skippy.
If I was the professor and a parent called me about their child’s grade- the next sound would be the phone hanging up, or “get the **** out of my office.” Fellow faculty member or not. No I’m not changing your kid’s grade and if you ask again we will have a chat with a Dean or somebody.
Maybe this is sop in education for children of employees? Idk.
AITA for thinking everyone here is a douchebag?

No, you're good.
Parents shouldn't be calling their kids' professors, ever. Faculty parents should know better, obviously.
We're creating a generation of children where overbearing parents steamroll or remove all obstacles in their kids' lives. They are in for a rude awakening, sadly.
