In this thread, we will post real life situations/scenarios in which you are unsure about how to think/feel about some occurrence and the greater good that is 5AF will weigh in.

I need a ruling on grilling in bare feet. Acceptable or unacceptable? I never thought it was unacceptable until someone today told me it was gross. I will continue to grill in bare feet.

Allowed. Your Flintstones aren't close to the food.

Now, you'd be ok with some flipflops to take on/off quickly before dragging outdoors into the house.

I probably cook more barefoot than anything else. That person who told you that it's not kosher is dumb.

I can't image why on earth that would matter to someone. Tell your friend to honestly go **** himself.

Doesn't this person always wear socks and shoes when cooking in the kitchen? If not, what's the difference whether you are outside or not? Ruling as stated numerous times, acceptable

Assuming you're not sticking your toes in the food... I fail to see why this would be an issue.

Out of curiosity... why the flip flops? Protection for the bottom of your foot?

What about fanny packs? There were tons of people wearing them at the shore this year.

Apparently they're back in style... weird. My wife is kind of happy about it so she can wear one and not look like a complete dork (I know, I know...) when she's walking the dogs.

Cowtown had a bunch of people selling them amongst the figet spinners and sunglasses. Fanny packs look fairly useful, but yeah....dorky.
