I am 100% against short-sleeve button-down shirts. No real reason, I just do not prefer the style at all.

Agreed. Don't wear a short-sleeved dress shirt. I roll my sleeves up on every long-sleeve shirt I wear. I feel that this is acceptable.

Yeah, short sleeve dress shirts are no bueno. The only time I would wear one would be a patterned one that is sort of designed to be worn untucked with shorts.
