So moved in together after 10 days of talking? That’s too fast... even for lesbians.

Oh, already done Om. I just needed a 2nd level of validation

She said, and this is a paraphrase, "I want someone who wants to be with me every day.. My friend is dating someone she just met and they see each other every day so why can't you".

I told her that was incredibly unrealistic and she's not getting that out of me, especially after a week, so bye.

I paid a lot—both in terms of money and sweat equity—to get those pieces of paper. Damn straight I'm putting them up on the wall.
Other paralegal I worked with at Konami had a JD from Fordham and he had his diploma in his cubicle.

Soak that in.

not that you need it but I'll give you female validation: run. run for your life.
I get that single folks have it very difficult right now and some are clinging to anything/anyone they can find but this is not "normal" behavior and quite frankly, a recipe for disaster/codependence. :scared:

Leaves from my tree in my neighbors yard. How much of it is my responsibility to clean?

Technically none (at least in MD). Your property line goes up like 100ft or something so anything that overhangs in your yard is yours to do with as you please. Again, that's for MD. May be different where you are.

Hah.

My wife would get super angry about other peoples leaves, meanwhile we had a tree in the front yard so large it obscured most of our house on satellite imagery.

My neighbor has an enormous pine tree, like seriously the thing is 75' in diameter. We've had super high winds the last two days, which means my backyard and pool are covered in pine needles.

We had a microburst about 2 months ago that snapped one of my neighbor's pines in half. He had it taken down along with the 2 other massive ones. This was my favorite fall by far when it came to raking. My job was cut by about 80%. It was glorious.

Well, I went about 10 feet into his yard and hit the heavy stuff with my leaf blower. Whats left he can get with his mower.

Responsibilities and just being a good neighbor are two different things. If the leaves are only a few feet onto his property from yours and you're already out there raking them up, just take care of them, but it's not your "responsibility".

In my case, a neighbor's maple is pouring leaves into my yard, but I have zero expectation of him cleaning them because I have a fenced in back yard and the leaves are inside my fence.

I worded the question poorly. I really wanted to know what a reasonable approach would be

i guess the other question is: how many trees are we talking about here? if this is a tree lined street, tough beans to all. if this is a one tree situation, I could see making that extra effort.

I wouldn't rake them...but just offer him a paper plate covered in scoldingly hot marshmallows to show that you love thy neighbor...

If he doesn't eat it because it's not eddy, he could probably get a lot of leaves stuck to it at least...

I told my one neighbor this: We all have trees where the leaves fall into somebody else's yard. I'll pick up your leaves, and my neighbor down the street will pick up mine.

We have two long rows of bushes dividing my property on both sides, so I'll go onto the other side of the bushes and blow 2-3 feet beyond both yards back into mine. I have a metric ton of leaves to rake each year, so the little extra bit I do isn't that big of a deal anyway.
