I think it should be legal for me to kick a bicyclist if they're riding on the sidewalk right next to a bicycle lane. I'm not talking like they're at their destination and about to get off. I'm talking about when they're riding up Penn at 11th by the garages and weaving through people to do so.
It's doubly upsetting because they took from the cars to get that bike lane on Penn and now some of them ignore it and are taking the sidewalk from the pedestrians. I just want the statutory authority to put them literally in their place by kicking them off the sidewalk and into the lane.

just thinking out loud here re: untucked shirt
what is the difference between an untucked shirt and say, someone showing up to work wearing sneakers and then changing into a pair of oxfords when they get to work

i think that's more akin to coming in with untied shoes than changing them entirely. untucked shirt is just sloppy and no reason for itjust thinking out loud here re: untucked shirt

My boss let me know I was in violation of the dress code last week when I was wearing my hoodie at my desk. While it's true that the handbook says no hoodies, I was under the weather, the office is cold af, and I took the hoodie off any time I went to a meeting.

I am presently wearing a hoodie as I type this. Suck it.

Do you tuck the hoodie in to your jeans?

I can see the sneakers if you have a long walk or something, even though I disagree with it. What is the advantage of having an untucked shirt? Being a fraction of a percent more comfortable?

The changing shoes thing is more apropos of a woman who wears sneakers on their commute, then changes to heels once at the office.

What if you had a bit of a walk in wintery slush? I'd be changing out of boots at the office.

Many people here wear sneakers to work, common sight...
Some of the people that ride bikes get completely changed...as someone who hates changing clothes during the business day, that would annoy me...the untuck thing might be heat/sweat related...?

The only legit reason for the untuck is laziness as far as I am concerned

lol
I just mean it in the sense that as I sit here I honestly cannot recall the last time I saw snow, so slush isn't something that factors into my reckoning.

Fact: I have been in four cities (well, three cities and a town) this weekend...it was snowing when I left and arrived in all of them so far...Philly, DC, Chicago, Lansing...

Sounds like someone needs a reason to head to Reno and hang out at the Fireside Lounge at the Peppermill Casino...

Let's rephrase to something more understandable for Californians: What if you have to walk through giant piles of ashes that used to be your neighborhood?lol
