I need a ruling on this

Okay, this is a little gross, but let's say that while using a urinal I pick my nose and flick a portion of dried nasal mucus into the urinal. When I flush, the mucus remains stuck to the inside of the porcelain. Repeated flushes aren't moving it. Should I do something more to remove said mucus from where it landed, or can I just walk away?

Mrs. F has an older, retired friend she does volunteer work with. Friend is in a good financial position, couple Carribean vacations every year, just home from African safari.

Friend is part of an organization that sponsors a scholarship for non traditional students which as a mid 40s online student Mrs. F is. Mrs. F applied for and got the scholarship with friend advocating for her, for which she is very thankful. It is a decent chunk- not a full ride by any stretch but will pay for a couple credits.

Friend had severe water damage to her basement last year and needs a complete remodel. Friend asked if Mrs F thought our two teenage boys would assist with clearing debris after.demo was done, she would buy them lunch and pay them like $20 each. Today was cleanup day, and the boys hauled buckets of bricks, wallboard and other stuff up a flight of stairs and into a dumpster for 4 hours. Well over a $20 value and more work than anticipated. Didnt get paid a cent and got leftover cold pizza for lunch. Mrs. F is pissed.

Do you say something? My thought is at this point - say nothing, pay them each like $50 out of the scholarship which is hers to do with as she pleases. Next time friend needs help recommend a contractor. I don’t know the friend well enough to say if it is a quid pro quo for advocating for the scholarship or if it’s some generational difference or what but... nobody’s real happy around the Franchise homestead today.
