The former owner of our home moved about 5 minutes away. We have their e-mail address from exchanging some information during the buying process. He's an editor or owner of some sort of magazine so he's constantly getting free samples and stuff to try out and write about. We just shoot him an e-mail and say "It's on the porch, come get it when you can." And that's that. We're 4 years later and we still get some stuff.

Plot twist - the info from the HOA was actually for the real previous owner, who died back in June. His daughter was the one who sold it and likely ordered the packages. Would explain why the email address I sent to bounced back.

We still get mail for the previous homeowner and we just hit 5 yrs. Like from banks, and what look to be financial/retirement/401(k) statements.

9 years for us. I believe they moved into this house directly from China and just didn’t have a clue what to do when they moved.

We have family members in our Amazon address list for gifts and anything we order for my in laws who wouldn't know how to order online. Have to watch to make sure orders are coming to our address.

I also just deleted a couple of hotels that I had Fire Sticks sent to when I forgot to take them.

Chances are they’ll end up spending 40some years of their lives in an office. Let the poor kids stay home. Unless your job is something cool like race car driver or bounty hunter.

Come see how exciting Mom and Dad's jobs are. Way to hike the teen suicide rate.

One of the many joys of remote work is not having to deal with bring your kid to work day.

I always found it funny that our security was crazy intense to be on certain floors given that virtually all of our teams, meetings, calls deal with PHI and other 'sensitive' information, but one day a year we allowed little humans to run amok among us. They'd have activities planned for them, but by early afternoon boredom set in and the tomfoolery would start.

I'd never bring the lad for a full day if I decided to do it at all. Come in late, hang in the office for an hour or two, get lunch, head home.

Pretty sure this is what my coworker who is in today is doing with his kids. Bring em in around 11, have them hang out in the office, take em back home around 2.

Our company is limits it to 10-18.

I just got done doing a science hour with the kids that came in. It was a fun time... no clue what they're doing the other 7 hours they're here. I guess just hanging out with mom and dad?
