Rolling it over is the best play and do it direct. Don't play the middle man.
Is there a specific process to "do it direct"...? That might not be a fair question...
If she has a Vanguard account, it will be simple. They have forms to follow. I've done it a couple times with old employer accounts.

My wife has a tiny 401k in Voya. And it's destined to stay there for eternity, because I have no idea how to find the rollover process.

Vanguard can and will help her roll it over to their side of the house if you make the call to them. They did that for my wife and my sister for old 403b accounts, one being with some random company like Bob's 401k.

Her current employer is through Newport Group (PNC). I will look into submitting a ticket with them.

I’m tempted to get into some options with WWE stock. Some Puts might be worth it given this surge and relative volatility of the stock…

Of course I have no idea what I’m actually doing.

Volatility damages the value of puts, but I get where you're head is at...I might buy some calls on it actually, sometimes this type of news can have an opposite effect...you go low, I'll go high, and as long as stock isn't stagnant, at least one of us will get some bills out of it...

Wow, this one is even worse than the "born rich" ones.

Life hack everyone! Get a good job, and if you don't spend any money on things, you can retire early!

This is where I deviate from most others over at bogleheads. So many of them spend very little - simple house, economical car, no fancy vacations, etc. - so that they can have a lush retirement. I would not want to live life like this if I had the means to change it. Enjoy life regardless of age, and do it responsibly enough that you can also have an enjoyable retirement. Saving all of the fun for when I'm old? **** that ****.

Also, retiring at 35 with $1mm? That's not going to last long unless you have zero debt, live in an incredibly LCOL area, and plan on sitting at home and gardening, doing nothing more.

I read one years ago about a dude who retired at 40 with around $900k and within 5 years was trying to find a job because caring for a family of four on an unretirable amount while paying out the ass for high end vacations with the hope of becoming a travel blogger was completely unsustainable.

No ****.

Cut back on going to bars? I haven't been to a bar to drink since 1997, yet here I am. Working until retirement age. Ah, it must be the $2-3 coffee I buy 1-2x a week.

Meh still buying $50 of BTC a paycheck. Not touching it for another 20 years anyway. Ride the waves.

Yep, they send you little metal slivers to glue together with library paste that will eventually make a coin. Right?
