Thanks. I thought that may be the case.

Since i Fd up my W4 for a while perhaps I make the conversion now and don't adjust the W4. Would I pay the tax on my year end return or at the time of conversion?

Year end return. So if you convert tommorow you wouldn't pay until 2023 tax return is filed

Once again, I regret not buying more Apple stock at $129. Today looks like another nice day in the market, thus far.

This just boggles my mind:
U.S. stocks fell Monday morning, on track for a second day of losses, after an unexpectedly strong jobs report at the end of last week renewed worries about how high the Federal Reserve will have to take interest rates.

I did a rollover IRA for my wife's 401k from former employer(s). We converted half to roth in December and half in January, that way we could split the tax liability over 2 years.

Good news is bad news in the Fed's war against the American worker making way too much money

Good timing as I just moved over money to take advantage of a $100 credit for "new" money for 90 days.

Let me know if that works for you. I did that in the past the last time they offered it, and was denied the bonus. I can't recall why, but I'm sure I complained about it in this thread, lol.

Every time he opens his mouth the market dives. I know it won't matter, but I wouldn't mind seeing him replaced.

This is where we need trump back. No other president would do what’s right here, that being to publicly threaten the fed for raising rates.

I **** love these articles from CNBC. Three lucrative side hustles that don't require higher education or artistic skill and utilize things you already have.

1.) Rent out your $400,000, 37 foot boat.
2.) Rent out your $110,000 backyard swimming pool, which features a spa, pool house, and barn with rescued animals.
3.) Turn your five acre backyard into a rentable dog park.

Why the **** didn't I think of any of those ideas?

Do you have horses nearby and lots of wood piles to keep the dogs coming back for more?

Better make sure the dogs can't actually get to those chickens though or you'll be spending all of your profit on new chickens. ;)

I went pheasant hunting with my Dad and our Black Lab, Princess, when I was younger. We went to a farm that stocked the pheasants so you would think that they would have experience with making sure their chickens were well protected, but they didn't count on Princess somehow climbing the chain wire fence and killing at least 5 chickens. The fence was a tall one too, but I don't remember the exact hight. My Dad paid for the chickens, and we never went back there again.

The farm also raised Bison which were protected by an electric fence. He told me he took my half brother there when he was a kid before I was born and he got a nasty shock from peeing on the fence. So I got told not to pee on that fence numerous times.

Got an e-mail from Marcus stating that they're updating their deposit account agreement, with some key changes. Two of them are ACH and wire transfer limits. Okay, what is changing?
We may place limits, based on total dollar amount or frequency, on funds transferred by ACH between your Marcus account and a linked external account. We’ll let you know about these limits when you schedule your first such ACH transfer.
So you won't tell me until I actually attempt the transfer? lol, GTFO
