I should note that I don't regret taking profit. I have held off too often in the past, and still made a nice profit from these recent sales.

I have to sell some of my company’s stock to cover the taxes i owe for exercising options of my company’s stock. Went to do it on Fidelity last Friday but I am told there’s a lock on my account due to a security issue. They have to move me over to a new account and it’ll take a couple of days

Meanwhile, on Thursday this week, the price of my company’s stock jumps up 20%. I finally got to sell today (Friday) and the dumb security issue made me an extra 20k on the shares I was planning on selling

I got lucky as ****

*whew*

I bought PTON at $103 and it fell to $96 and kind of languished there. I was going to cut my losses (about $2,000) and unload it yesterday. I decided to give it one more day to show something positive. Forgot to log in to my terminal this morning; it had shot up 6% to $104 and was starting to fall. Unloaded it at $103 for a nominal loss.
That's a load off.

maybe I'm misremembering but weren't you the one who'd oft wonder why the hell PTON had that much value to begin with?

Yeah, I acknowledged that disconnect in an earlier post.
I'd still hold it long, even at $103. But that's not my game.

I'm looking at other stuff right now because I think DKNG is in over its head for my style of trading and it was my workhorse for so long.

Outside of waiting for an alert on the ARK funds I own and the last of my FUBO shares, I'm back to just throwing cash at VTSAX.

I wouldn't. I genuinely don't understand anyone who'd spend money on Peloton products/subscriptions. It's so expensive and I don't see the value of it. I did have PTON shares in 2019 because their stock took an artificial hit from that detestable holiday commercial in 2019 but I never actually believed in the company

I think it's a bubble waiting to pop

I guess the bump came today because PTON announced they're going to open an apparel line. They were already selling Peloton branded stuff in their online shop but I imagine this is something they plan to put into other retail outlets and compete against UA, Nike, etc.

I don't normally look back on trades when I leave happy, but...

PTON is up 11% today and is at $118 at the moment. I missed big by selling one day early. Thought for sure it was going to fall back to $98.

RBLX is a long-term hold for me, but I have a lot of money in it right now from $72 up to $90. I considered selling some of my shares, since it's been so volatile, but I'm hesitant. I still think this will wind up in triple digits in the next 6 months.

Discount stock day, fellas.

I was unironically looking at FUBO before the market opened. I think I'm out of ideas and need to go back to my screener.

Should have sold off half of my RBLX, too. Could have bought back in around where those shares were originally purchased. Next time.
