If anyone wants to play the Ford earnings game again their call is in two days.
This time I'm going to wait until the morning after and see what happens. If they report fantastic earnings and it plummets three dollars a share about two weeks later I will have made a tidy sum.
It did the opposite this time. Ran in after-hours and then held the price into today. This is the first time that's happened in the COVID era.
I would short it if that was my thing.
They had a profitable quarter despite the chip shortage that everyone panicked about at the prior earnings call. No ****. God damn people are dumb.

It gave back all those gains today. Would've made a tidy sum.

15-year refinance with a few points is showing 1.85% for me at Better.com. I am seriously considering this...

 Just got off the phone with Mr. Cooper. Apparently, all systems are having issues right now, so he can't check anything, but I'm going to try and refinance directly with them to avoid having the loan sold.

Actually got a loan estimate at 1.75%, but with around $5k in points. Still worth paying in the long run, based on my quick math.

In all seriousness, I am toying with refinancing again, only to take out some cash. Kitchen remodel is done, but now we have new floors, painting and removal of a half-wall coming up. Either I dip into the emergency fund or get a loan.

Will probably go with the former as it will only take 5-6 months to restock the emergency fund. No need to finance it over 15 years.

FWIW, I got a loan estimate from Better.com before Mr. Cooper even ran the numbers. They already told me they'll match the rate and beat the closing costs by at least $500, so it looks like I'm about to drop to 1.75%. I'm hoping they actually beat the interest rate without having to match anything, too.

I wonder if Mr. Cooper gives discounts for referrals... :D

Done. Locked in @ 1.75% with Mr. Cooper. They matched Better.com's loan estimate and then beat it by about $1k (closing costs).

RBLX is singlehandedly bleeding my brokerage account dry. Thankfully, it was always a long-term hold, but my cost basis is high enough where I'm going to be sweating for a while.

What's up with FUBO? It's leading my watchlist by a wide margin.

I'm about to sell off my FB. It just moves too damn slow.

FUBO is finally rebounding after getting crushed a few weeks ago. RBLX is the same today (up more than $6/sh).

@robbiestoupe: I will say, it was much easier to get in touch with the reps at Better.com compared to Mr. Cooper. I've sent two e-mails in the last two weeks, and have yet to get a reply on either one. Still moving forward, though.

You also had a good experience with them the first time around, right? I had an issue with one person from Better, but it ruined the whole thing. Most of their staff were good, though.

Yeah, I love Mr. Cooper. They have been outstanding to work with. Maybe I'm just spoiled with how Better worked the digital angle.
