:lol: That's what I thought. It sounded like TIAA taking the skim off of my retirement account.

The other "new" part of our plan is offering loans from your retirement accounts. I won't post the details, but yikes. That sounds like a terrible idea, but maybe not if you are desperate.

Mine never did either. I did an ACH deposit from pnc and figured it didn't work.

I just can't make sense of the market this year. At one point, I was down so much that I basically lost all of last year's gains and then some. Right now, I'm well ahead of where I estimated I'd finish 2020, and it's only July.

I'm able to have my paycheck deposited to my main checking account, and a smaller amount posted to my Marcus account. Your employer doesn't allow this?

Nope - just one account. Then I have to split it up from that account. The only splitting they let us do is into an employer credit union account, and even then it's considered a paycheck deduction vs. a direct deposit.
