Ok. Explain this all to me like I am 5 years old - which is exactly what I tell my financial advisor when we talk.

It seems like some internet folks decided to bankrupt a group of Wall Street doofuses by buying a random stock (GameStop) and it is actually working. Is this correct?

They said it was public knowledge that GME was over shotted and some decided to squeeze and created this.

(This is just regurgitating stuff people have posted, I don’t actually know)

Today has tracked like Monday and Tuesday. Open high, dip immediately, level out about an hour later, then... Rockets?

Anyway, everyone being locked out of their access won't help.

Was able to buy more after calling VG. Every brokerage is pretty much **** right now, so volume is low. This just means that you should have your sell limit set ahead of time so you don't get **** when you want to get out.

It actually will require one set of wall street doofuses willingly boning another set of doofuses over profits that the first set of doofuses don't deserve. Not to mention that the second set of doofuses probably doesn't have enough money to pay the first set at this point, anyway.

VG being down netted me 4 extra shares since my original limit buy was $320, so I guess I'll take it.

There's a lot of money to be made (and lost) in the options world.

There are over 2m subs on wsb. Retail (us) is just helping, but make no mistake about it - whales from the outside have jumped in to get in on the action. I don't think there is a high ratio of YOLOers on this.
