ya'll should have this play money in an IRA so you dont pay taxes on the gainz. Course you cant access it but its play money anyway right? little boost to the retirement if you can cash out with gainz.

If I would have thought this out more beforehand I would have, also I invested so little, I didn't really expect to make that much back that taxes would be an issue... but we see how that is going.

This gamestop thing is weird.

Is it some internet campaign to try and counter the short sellers or something? Seems like this wont end well.

I just can't imagine one wall street big swinging dck forcing another wall street big swinging dick to cover a short position that is artificially high because a bunch of redditors wanted it to be.

It's not like reddit is spamming peoples emails. We're talking like actual dollars here.

There are people up tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, and even millions of dollars because of this. Yes the ride will end at some point, you need an exit strategy, but hopping off now makes no sense IMO. I don't have as much invested as others, but I'm riding this out to squeeze as much cash out as I can.

I have a point where I will jump off both on the high end and the low end to protect my initial investment.

Vanguard is completely **** down, and I haven't been able to place my order yet. On top of that, you can't buy or sell without calling in right now.
