That is a ridiculous reason for the stock to drop given that ChatGPT has had similar gaffes.

Increased my GOOGL position another 40ish percent. The stock market is so dumb at this point.

I'm super annoyed. I was gonna pull the trigger at $100 but it never got that low and up up up it went. I figured an undeserved bounce would happen but was weary of pulling the trigger on something that should be like an 1/8th of where it currently sits.lol at TSLA doubling it's price in a couple of weeks.

I was poking around in Vanguard to start contributing to a Roth 401k, and see these options. I'm not sure what the difference in the second and third is?

AFTER-TAX CONTRIBUTIONS

Came across this page when looking for details of the SECURE Act 2.0, and thought others might benefit from it: https://www.usbank.com/retirement-plann ... e-act.html

If I get lucky and one of the kids doesn't use all their 529, I could roll it over. And by the time they're graduating from college, I'll be eligible to draw from my retirement accounts without early penalty. I'd probably just give it to them, but I'll be able to avoid the penalty.Under prior law (still in effect in 2023), leftover balances in 529 education savings plans can be taken as a non-qualified distribution, but the earnings portion of the distribution is subject to income tax and a 10% penalty. Beginning in 2024, based on provisions in the new law, you’re allowed to roll up to $35,000 of leftover funds into a Roth IRA

I actually averaged up on $FRC after hours and plan on holding a while. They're both still down like 2x - 3x from a week ago...
