Nah, I just like skiing and thought this was a useful opportunity to discuss the World Cup and share some info. I don't care about Vonn one way or another, but you had her sporting accomplishments wrong.
You already have soccer as a useless sport to bore people with, you can't have skiing too.

C'mon man, you know this is about commercials. I fast forward through the commercials when watching Pens games and she's still overexposed.

fwiw I spend my Sunday mornings watching F1. But that's because it was live at 3am.
I've mostly made my peace with soccer. The bandwagoners that come around every couple years annoy me, but, whatever. I enjoy cricket and watch 4-6 different Euro/Australian racing series so I don't have much of a leg to stand on. I'm not uber-Patriot American soccer hater enough and my interest in European things just doesn't extend to 90 minutes of guys kicking a ball back and forth. I can watch cars go around a circuit for 2 hours, though. Different strokes I guess.

Hmm, I love C+H, but that is a decent take. I think BW did those more to practice his drawing ability than anything else.
