My world was changed with mayo on a burger.
Mayo goes on the heel of every burger I ever make. It's an essential condiment, not just for taste, but because it helps maintain bun integrity. (I can also make mayo from scratch in about 45 seconds using a stick blender, so I've got that going for me.)

I have been known to go all Belgian and eat French fries with mayo in the same way others might use ketchup. In that capacity, I like to thin out the mayo a little with some extra cider or malt vinegar.

The Japanese put mayo on everything.

I've smelled a septic tank (ours, while being emptied). It's nothing like mayo.

I hate to break it to you, Ween, but that wasn't a septic tank.

My wife, the fitness freak, is a chip addict. Me, the fat slob, have no interest in them. The world has no real organization to it, I think.

We never have potato chips in the house, but always have corn chips. I wanted a bag of jalapeño chips with my lunch order from a local deli. I got BBQ, which prompted my post. The best BBQ chip is still absolute trash.

I'm currently eating some Southern Sweet Heat BBQ chips from Utz.

Honestly, kinda just tastes like Lay's, and I'm slightly disappointed.

Middleswarth BBQ Chips have always been the gold standard for me. Thankfully, I live nowhere near PA to get them or else I'd house a barrel in the half of one football game.

My mom is obsessed with the buckets. When she drives up to visit, she always drives back to Alabama through Central PA so she can pick up approximately a half dozen of them.

They replaced the buckets with resealable bags some time ago.

You gotta go with the bar-b-q, although Mrs. F likes the SCO.

Far as I can tell they get fairly close to Philly but the western Middleswarth line appears to be through Clearfield and Altoona.

Sour cream and onion, ruffled. It’s the king of all potato chips.

I'll say it again but the worst BBQ chips are Middleswarth. I'd say BBQ chips are the most consistently good chip. If I want to see if a new brand is good I'll start with their BBQ offering

people sharing where they were during 9/11 is lame. It’s like talking about dreams or vacations with other people; it’s too personal to be interesting. Everyone just wants to talk about their specific experience

I get that it’s this shared traumatic experience but the particular conversation of “I was doing this” is annoying
