The latest video angle that shows the Cavs bench after regulation of game 1 is telling. Lebron says nothing until he asks if they had a timeout left, then hangs his head in apparent disgust when he finds out they did. No way he goes back to Cleveland, imo. Also, his reaction, and how he played against the Celtics a few years ago... there are times (very rare) that he seems to give up. That’s why I don’t think he gets ahead of Jordan in the all time greatest discussion.
So your take is lebron wasn't trying in ot?

He didn't blow it in the sense that it was a failure, but leaving twice just looks v bad. If he went from the Heat to Philly no one would care imo
Cleveland hadnt won anything in 60 years. I don't think he owes them anything or think it looks "v bad." He delivered imo.
I agree. He did what they wanted him to do. I think he goes to Houston.
Aligning oneself with James Harden is evidence of bankrupt morality.

He tried at very end, but said he wasn’t positive they had one so didn’t want a technical. I don’t blame him for being pissed at Lue. He should’ve called timeout as soon as JR dribbled out. That’s on him. However, Lebron’s gotta suck it up and move on to overtime.

No, not saying he wasn’t trying, but I think he was defeated.

I don't really know what that means and my strong suspicion is thats because it doesn't mean anything.

He knew that was their chance to win the game and they blew it.

That video shows the bench after OT and it looks like they just lost game 7 in triple overtime. They were defeated before OT started. None of the coaches or leaders stepped up and snapped everyone out of it that's for sure

anyone who argues Lebron is AHEAD of Jordan is dumb. Lebron is, at best, tied with Jordan (he's slightly behind him still in my book)

I think a lot of these rankings are meaningless, tbh. I've heard the argument that Jordan got to play with some of the most well-coached, talented teams of all time, and that's true. LeBron did have his time in Miami though.

At the same time if you remove Jordan and LeBron from both of their teams and they play one another, Jordan's team would win.

Lebron didn't even have the highest FG% on his team. He also sucked at free throws!!11!

Also with regards to Lebron leaving Cleveland. Those I know from Cleveland accept the fact he will not be back, understand the decision, and blame management for asset management

I don't really follow too much, but where did Cleveland blow it?

Should they not have made the Love trade, and also done better with Kyrie?

I think they handled the Kyrie thing badly.
What could they do to retain Lebron?

Lebron did not want Kyrie gone. He's said that on numerous occasions, and was quite upset with management for doing it.
